Hacking noob question: luma3ds normal system update?

Hello

I did all the steps on this guide https://plailect.github.io/Guide/
it installs luma3ds and al9h etc
but i don't know if i have to install emunand or is it already included on this guide?

do i need emunand to safety update the system on the 3ds?
it shows sys 9.2, so should i just update it to 11.2 on the normal system on the normal way?

If it says "sys" you can update using the system settings hassle-free its safe
