Hopefully an easy fix here. I've had a hacked wii for some time, i've kept up with updates from time to time. I've been on system menu 4.2u since it came out (upgraded the safe way). Hadn't really used my wii for a few months, but wanted to make sure it was up to date and start using it again. I downloaded modmii, ran the system check utility, and updated the files it told me to. Everything still ran fine. I play my games off a 120GB western digital portable hard drive with configurable USB loader (which also updated with modmii), I've never had a problem with it. Tonight, I decided to try installing d2x. I used modmii to download the files. Wanting the most up to date, I downloaded 249d2x58 and 250d2x58, and installed them with MMM. Now when I try to load up my configurable USB loader, it cant find the hard drive. It's v70 using ios 249 to the best of my knowledge. I'm not sure what I did to make it not see the drive any more? Any insight?

u should use modmii's recommended cIOSs, 249 d2x v6 base 56 and 250 d2x v6 base 57

So are you saying it had installed it already for me? If I just re run the system check utility will it fix this up do you think?

it depends what u did specifically, if u ran the modmii wizard then they should have been installed already. But it sounds like u overwrote them with base58 cIOSs anyways. But yea, all u need to do is install the recommended cIOSs from ModMii's download page 4. Syscheck updater should work for u if using the newer beta version of syscheck, otherwise analysing the log from the old version ModMii will just see it's v21006 and think it's up to date

Yeah, it still wont read the hard drive. When I open configurable usb loader it says mounting device, please wait. It never did this before. I didnt see any reference to 249 d2x v6 base 56 and 250 d2x v6 base 57 being installed as part of the 30 files it did. I'll see if I can get further tomorrow, and I'll get back. Thanks again for your help, and your great program

Deleted.

So I just downloaded the 2 files you said I should have with the correct base, and installed them overwriting the ones with the wrong base 58. Everything works as it should again.

I don't have the time to read all the "Skyward Sword issues" threads (though I DID read many of them, and didn't find a single person with the same problem I'm having), so...

I'm using CFG USB Loader to load the game, and it runs issue-free for the most part, but sometimes it hangs with a white screen when I select the "Go to sky" function at a Bird Statue. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Doesn't anyone have a solution to my issue?

i used Crap v3.3 to make a channel with the 1.6 loader...no problems for me.

You have a bad rip, or there is a problem with your HDD.

I'm using ModMii and just backing up my NAND now.

Does HBC load from both SD and USB at the same time?
I want to keep my emulators on USB so I'll have more room (and obviously the usb loader app is on there too) and then my SD card for WAD manager to install WiiWare.

If you press 1 you can choose your source for apps. I suggest you keep all your regular apps (including emulators) on your SD card as it is faster and more compatible. You can store your roms on a HDD if you want, and still load them from the emulators.

Is a folder for each type of emulator. They are included in the download.

Hello guys, I'm new here so forgive me if I'm being noobish

I don't have a stable internet connection, but I have a laptop with an onboard wireless card so, my question is, is it possible to stream files from a computer to a Wii without an internet connection?

I was considering (dreaming of) getting a Wii sometime in the future but I wanted it to access files from my computer too...

I am a noob just recently letterbombed my 4.3e, if you go back to the wii message board and click on your letterbomb message again it should say and i quote "install homebrew channel".
secondly you want wad manager 1,7 to install in a apps folder on the sd card. next google usb loader .wad to download it and install with wad manager

I've got a 4.2U Wii softmodded, I play all my games with USB Loader GX. It's been a bit since i played on my Wii, but the new Zelda brought me back. I started updating some of my IOS's, and now my Wii won't give me any TV signal. The drive light comes on, the power light goes green, and the disk drive "wirrrs" for a couple of seconds, but then nothing. I don't get ANY signal to my TV, and my WiiMotes wont sync. I can't even boot into PreLoader (mind you, my console is new enough to only allow me to install it as a dol.)

Any help would be AWSOME. Or if you guys could point me in the right direction.
