    Hi all
    I recently heard about the vita hack etc and dusted off my trusted old vita and loaded enso 3.65 onto it and have the following plugins as stated in my config:
    Code:
    *KERNEL
    ur0:tai/nonpdrm.skprx
    ur0:tai/gamesd.skprx
    ur0:tai/kuio.skprx

    *main
    ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
    ur0:tai/shellbat.suprx
    ur0:tai/pngshot.suprx
    ur0:tai/download_enabler.suprx

    *NPXS10015
    ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx

    *NPXS10016
    ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx

    *!PSPEMUCFW
    *ALL
    ur0:tai/vsh.suprx
    The problem i have is, some games which i purchased (downloaded from PS Store) when i had the PS Vita like Gran Turismo, Toy Story or Up which dont have any licence files in the nonpdrm, licence directory. Theres only 3 there i think theyre for Motorstorm RC, ModNation Racers and some other game (cant remember right now).
    What i would like to do is backup these games (daughters insisting!) so that when my sdcard arrives i can include them on there, but im alittle hesitant at the moment as i cannot locate all licence files.
    Is it possible some games dont have licence files or am i being too optimistic? or am i doing something wrong?

    Nonpdrm licenses are fake.
    The plugin does nothing for a legit game so you only need to paste everything from sony mc to your sd.

    The license folder is not what you think, also nonpdrm does not support psp/ps1 licenses, so use qcma for them.

    Do not use fake licenses with legit games and do not share your legit licenses.

    Ps
    You config is wrong, gamesd have to be first, always

    Thanks
    Can you advise what exactly I need to copy across from my memory card?
    I’m looking to format and sell it on afterwards. (They’re only vita games)
    Also are you able to advise why I have “some” licenses within the nonpdrm directory? (Just trying to understand)
    Finally I’ve replaced gamesd with storagemgr (would that still need to go at the top)
    Many thanks for your kind support

    Don t sell your mc if you have a phat vita, it has no internal memory, you cannot recover your vita without it. (Unless you use imcUnlocker, but be careful)

    Gamesd is 2x faster than storege manager
    If you only need sdvita as ux0, gamesd is the best choice.

    Anyway, these plugins must be first.
    The ux0 partition should be available asap to prevent boot failures.

    You need to copy everything

    As i said psp/ps1 licenses are not supported, they will never be there.
    Nonp creates licenses for vita games only.

    I do have another spare smaller Sony mc which I’ll keep for recovery.
    Copying everything includes a lot of folders lol, would I have to paste the lot back? Also would this be with qcma backup option.
    Thanks again

    Yeah, all the folders. (Select all in the root and paste somewhere/sdcard)
    You can use qcma to move your games in a safe place and remove them from your mc, toy story, gran turism etc..

    A system backup will take a lot more than a copy/paste.

    You can use vita shell to connect your sony mc via usb (use lastest) then you can use a microsd adapter to paste everything in your sd (it s much faster than vita usb)

    One last question, if gamesd is better why are all the guides suggesting storagemgr?

    Also is it normal to take over 6 hours to transfer via ftp approx 13Gb?
    I’m using cyberduck on windows as FileZilla kept losing connections.

    FTP connections can be relatively slow on the Vita, can corrupt data, and it's always faster to just use USB with Vitashell now, so I suggest you just don't use FTP at all unless it's for smaller files and use Vitashell's USB mass storage connection instead.

    Well, some people claim that gamesd is better based on their experience, while storagemgr has some other people stating that its functionality is better and didn't present some of the issues gamesd had initially.

    IMO, storagemgr is easy to use, it's proven to work on different firmwares, and the feature of mounting any point to whatever you want make it better. Of course, it may have issues just like gamesd, but less annoying than the ones gamesd has when it unmounts something and you need to redo everything once again.

    On a side note, is it possible to use sd2vita (128Gb sdcard) and an original Sony MC?
    Now I’m confused which to use lol!
    StorageMgr or GameSD?

    Use Storagemgr, it has more features and is easier to use.

    And yes, you can use both the SD2Vita and the original memory card at the same time, but the second card can generally only be used for Adrenaline and emulators. You can't install Vita games to both, they can only be installed to the ux0 partition so if you wanted to use both for Vita games, then you'd have to keep swapping mount points whenever you wanted to play a game on either one of the cards.

    Thanks.
    I’d like to use the Sony MC for adrenaline/PSP
    Can I ask what I should use for my storage_config:
    MCD=um0
    INT=imc0
    GCD=ux0
    UMA=grw0

    I forgot
    MCD=um0
    GCD=ux0

    This would set the SD2Vita as your main memory card, and the memory card as the "extra" card.

    The rest don't matter, and can be deleted or left alone.

    Cool
    Done that and it works a treat.
    One final question (I promise I hope)
    How can I format my Sony MC?
    I removed my sd2vita and left the Sony card in and tried format from settings and it’s stating there’s no memory card (obv as it’s now pointing to sd2vita)?

    You'd need to swap the mount points to format it using the settings menu. Open your storagemgr config, and just swap the GCD and MCD mount points, reboot, then format. Then you can swap it back to what was listed above.

    Almost there lol, is there a reason why I can’t see the Sony memory card within vita shell when both are inserted?
    Want to see if it has been formatted.

    I said gamesd coz

    1) you said you were using sd as ux0 and no other things so storage mgr is not needed for that, it s a lot slower

    2) i m using gamesd + uma0 patch (not official) because i tried storage mgr and the boot was too slow for me

    3) it is as buggy as storage mgr, i mean these plugins are not perfect and storage mgr inherits fixes from gamesd so gamesd does not have more bugs

    4) gamesd plugin is lightweight, less code less bugs and it is a lot faster because of this

    There s no doubt that storage mrg has a lot of features and shiny things, but if you don t need them, you are only increasing your boot time

    These are differences.

    Ps: gamesd has no bugs, i m using uma0 just fine, no unmounts, no corruptions, no problems of any kind.
    My vita sleeps and resume just fine, even when adrenaline is running (which uses uma0 as ms0)

    Don t trust who says otherwise, these are myths (or better...bad configs) :)

    If you can t see it, it s not mounted. Check your config

    Lol, thanks for that Scott.
    Out of interest, are we able to remove stock apps?
    Also lucks where would I find the gamesd with the patch?
