It shouldn't be too surprising. Wii games are on standard DVDs this time (not a proprietary mini-DVD like the GCN), and Nintendo has probably shipped the stock out by now, so all the various stores will have the stock for the 19th. Of course, this never, ever stops employees working at a small game store to, say, take the copy they pre-ordered for themselves a little early?

If we stuck with just GBA releases as our name GBAtemp implies, we'd be dead right about now...
GBA, NDS, Wii. It's all Nintendo. And they are all systems a lot of board members own (or will own). We don't want you to have to go elsewhere for your Wii fix. Just like we didn't want you to go elsewhere for your NDS fix.

We'll hopefully be implementing a new portal system soon that should satisfy everyone.
Not everyone likes the Wii releases on the portal, a lot of people didn't like it when we started covering DS ROMs. But we need to keep up with the times to bring in new members. For now you don't have the option of what you see on the portal, but soon I hope that will change.
For now, you're going to have to put up with them, sorry peeps.

Still not 100% sure if these paticular releases are real. While I agree that Wii releases should be tracked here, I don't think it's right to list dumps that aren't confirmed good.
Take them off. Putting NDS releases here is a good idea since the DS is essentially just an evolution of the GBA. If we start seeing Wii releases here, then why not PS2/360/PS3/PSP releases too?

I say leave it. We went through this when the DS came out and people wanted the name changed to NDStemp. Its a major inconvenience to keep making new sites for each product. I see this site dedicated to nintendo handhelds but I don't see the problem with these Wii rom posts, chances are, they are real as its probably easy to dump.

I say take them off. They are not even ROMS, more like ISOS. Plus this is a mainly handheld gaming site.
This is not a handheld site. As it stands now (and I say that because originally it was only GBA) this is a Nintendo site. The Wii is Nintendo so it makes sense to highlight their new console.
