Hello
I have a problem with my WiiU, I'm actually on the steup screen (on the Gamepad) who tells me to switch the input setting of my TV for the WiiU, but after trying every settings i could apply nothing shows up on the TV, I tried every HDMI cable I have and even pluged in with my AV cable.

Also, when I turn on the console, the blue light appears, disapear and appears again as the disk reader make sounds two times.

My Wii U is not modified (no hacks installed on it)

Can the Wii U still shutdown if you press the power button short after giving it time to boot or do you need to force it off?

Then this will be a case for paid the beak: https://gbatemp.net/threads/paid-the-beak-a-new-wii-u-coldboot-exploit.673424/
If you want, you can try building a jig yourself from a pico. Otherwise I would recommend you to wait a few weeks until it is more mature.

If you can solder (a tiny bit), have a Raspberry Pi Pico and a USB Y cable, I can show you how to make a jig from that yourself, which works without having to open the console.

You will also need a SD card which is 2GB or smaller.

Yeah, actually after posting my thread, I searched a bit about a solution and I saw this, so I'll order a RaspberryPi Pico for this

also make sure to have the small sd card and a usb y cable (2 male).
Also you will likely need a either redNAND (will require another good SD) or USBMLC, since this is very likely a bad eMMC.

That is something different. I really doubt this was fixed by setting the cold boot title, since if the title is wrong, you still get display output. Maybe the mlc or slc started to corrupt and made scfm crash and with the many power cycles he hot lucky and one read that was good. As you can see from the other comments there it basically worked for no one else.
Also the video there is very bad, since half of the things he says are just made up to gloss over the fact that he has no clue what he is doing. There is no such cache or database that gets rebuild by setting the coldboot title. It just changes a value in a xml file on the slc.

Ofc you you can try if UDPIH still works. If the console turns on the gamepad, then there is a chance of it working if you get the timing exactly right. And in that case you would want to install ISFShax from there.
But if the console doesn't turn on the game pad at all, then it is crashing too early for udpih to work.

Actually the Gamepad works, it shows me that I need the set the correct signal for my TV, so I think it could work (I ordered it, but I can return it)

You will also need a SD card which is 2GB or smaller.
Don't quote me, but I believe a 4GB card can work if you have one of the rare ones that are not SDHC cards. SDHC/XC use a different "language" than original SD cards use.

Yes I'm theory there are 4g sdsc cards possible with 1k sectors. But I never encountered one and I have doubts that the boot0 can work with them

So, I recived the Pico and followed the thread I told you before, but after a couple of times I don't get the recovery menu, I made a video to show you, I guess I'm on the timing :
Don't hesitate to tell me if I do something wrong

EDIT : @SDIO I read again your comment about (this one : https://gbatemp.net/threads/no-video-with-my-wi-u.673510/post-10696434) and I think it's kinda impossible for me to install ISFShax on it in reason of where i'm with the console
Also if you have Discord it could be faster to fix it, here is my username : happysunnysun_

Your gamepad isn't synced to the console. It doesn't matter what you do on it. Also that means you can't see if the console is trying to turn on the gamepad.

You can try the pretimed udpih from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-set-up-isfshax.642258/post-10516496 but I think the chance of it working is very slim.
Also you won't see anything on the screen. You would only notice that the led goes purple if it works.

Else give me a few days and I will write up on how to use paid the beak.
