Hi Guys.

I have followed the guide over at switch home-brew and I am at the point where is says to Launch > CFW (SYSNAND)’.

However I don't have that option in hekate v5.2.1

When I tap launch I see.

CFW (sysMMC)

CFW (emuMMC)

Stock

Fusee

With the exception of stock all of them items don't work and error out. I have followed the guide to the letter and have an early unpatched Switch. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Get the latest atmosphere files from github and launch fusee payload and you will get into CFW sysnand.

Thanks mate. I build the SD card from the SD Card Setup dot com site. would that not include the update to date files? I have been to GitHub and I am sure I already have the latest everything.

I have downloaded them but still the same issue.

You have to load fusee one, as that one is pointed at fusee-primary. Fusee-Primary is Atmosphere bootloader.

Ok so If I go in to loaders and run the fusee-primary it looks like it going to boot and then see the what in the attached file.

all you need is atmosphere files and latest fusee-primary payload... also make sure to format sd to f32

I am on 10.0.3 , however I think I am in. I ran the Fix Archive bit tool in hekate and when I run the fusee-primary it boots in the switch. I see in system that my current system version is 10.0.3|AMS 0.12.0|S. I assume I am all set then?

Seem to be the archive bit issue, there was a similar post on Twitter this morning.

You need your patches, I would suggest following that thread I link earlier, it show to how to Chainload Vanilla Atmosphere, along where to get the patches.

Homebrew apps don't require any patches. You need patches mostly for piracy and modified/custom NSPs. With atmos you should be able to get into homebrew menu without any issues by holding R when launching any games title.

Regardless he still need the patches at the end of the day.

Its just your answer to his problem of not getting into hb menu was completely incorrect since patches aren't related to hb menu in any way.

Im just suggesting him an all in one guide that guides him through the whole process.

Man you have no idea what these patches are for, he can't get homebrew to run without the fs patches and loader patches. SD setup only come with with the default nogc
You don't need these patches for most homebrew applications.

That is true but Im just giving the guy an all in one guide, for stuffs like Forwarder and games he installed wouldn't work without them anyway.
This isn't what the person was asking. It's also best not to project your own needs onto others.
