Homebrew No$GBA

I tried booting an NDS game, but I always get:
Cannot read save data!
How do I make it so No$GBA autocreates one?

You need the 2.6a (paid) version for automatic save detection, otherwise you must change the save settings in the emulator options.

Open the No$GBA you have, go to Options > Emulation Setup, and search for NDS Backup Cartridge Media, and select FLASH 512KB.

Are you using 2.6 or 2.6a? I suppose you have to pay for 2.6a.

That would be likely correct. Martin is a bit of a hypocrite going back into the 90s. He calls his stuff No Cash($)'System' and they stay that way for a long time with ongoing promises of it staying so. When he hits some milestone of huge proportions stuff suddenly goes for pay. In the past he'd lock something down then charge like $1000 or so for it so 'developers' could make their games better, most recently it's this move with the few dollar contribution. Each time he pulled the stunt the same general players in the community got revenge and helped him keep his promise of no cash, so there's no sympathy from me and few should have it for him. Then again if you had come across the guy on the IRC efnet or boards formerly regulared a decade ago you'd get some sick satisfaction over the piracy of his app. Stories are long and many but needless to say treating people like they're garbage and under you, talking down to them, insulting people, and along that line gets what is deserved.

All I can say is, good for them. Anyone who promises something and does another gets no respect from me.
