The transparency bug is really, truly fixed. It really is this time, last time I reported it fixed I had a miscommunication with someone who didn't speak English well. This was what fixed it, btw:
    - nds/3d: supports 3d vs 2d alpha blending (if supported by local opengl driver)
Your OpenGL driver should support it if you have a computer that's less than 100 years old. (At least it must have an embedded video chip that has any form of 3D acceleleration, which most do.)

So other than this big bug fix, most of the other changes are for the debugger version's 3D VRAM viewer.

The new Mortal Kombat game should be running now, and some homebrew that had kinky headers now work with a warning.

Snapshots don't work for NDS games at the moment.

But, still. No emulator can "run" undumped games. Unfortunately...

You're probably the only one here with a debugger. [IMG]
I wish I had the debugger version though...

Ah yes, that makes sense since he does all that ROM/RAM hacking.

I was playing around with 2.5b last night, and Contra 4, Lunar Knights and FF3 were all but working flawlessly. If he can get some more speed up in the emu (and me get a slightly faster computer) then a lot of games I want to play will be very playable. Right now I can't overly tolerate the slowdown (emu is running about 35-40% capacity for me) and sound glitching, but man I am impressed with what he's doing.

Anybody get the Jump Superstars (or UltimateJSS) working on the emu? A few games I tried I can't get to do much, but most of them work awesome (minus not being fast enough/sound issues as I already said)

But like I said before give him till middle of next year and this thing is gonna rock hard. (Like it doesn't already though) [IMG]

Thanks for the heads up, as always Dualscreenman. [IMG]

    Fixed the UMK crashing! [IMG]

Yeah, the debug version is very much worth the 15 dollars. It saves a ton of headaches. [IMG]

on this topic, I'm willing to add some debugging features to the acekard R.P.G. (waiting my sample). Saying so because you added features too...

In addition to what I said in my last post, the next thing that we see (hopefully) is save state support or at the very least the ability to save ingame via battery saves.

I checked it when I was messing with FF3 and reset the emu to discover that even battery save wasn't working.

Not complaining mind ya, just making an observation about something I didn't know about. Still to be able to play the games in any form on PC is a major accomplishment, all in less than 2 years mind ya. (He implemented DS emulation in Jan. '06) And for it to be majorly playable with tons of games, that's just awesome.

Saves should work if you have the proper savetype set in the options menu.
