Homebrew No$gba 2.3a released

After you configure the settings then you have to save it and restart the no$gba and it will work.

After you load the game...you will get this:

So, does EBA work or not? Asking this before I try and hunt the illegal files.

Just Menu right now. Better ?

How the heck do you get Ryuusei no Rockman to play? I've gotten every file (I think), and decrypted it so that I don't get crash errors, but the game doesn't load. Others will though.

You need firmware.bin if you already have nds bios.

Yeah. I feel better.... kinda.... shame I can't get the gif of commander kahn doing the ass shaking.

Well I tried those settings and while I now no longer get the "image crashed" error the game still won't start, I just get a white screen.

It seems as though the gba bios does nothing as I deleted the file and it showed no difference as still just shows the white screen. Could this be a gba bios or older firmware issue?

Well, tell me step by step at what you are doing. Make sure you have firmware.bin and two nbs bios unzip into no$gba folder first.

Step 1. Encrypt rom with eNDcryptS.
Step 2. Open rom with NO$GBA 2.3a (using the above saved settings)

..no worky, in fact the only change in the settings needed to stop the "rom-image has crashed" error was the GBA Bios startup option. I'm thinking that maybe the problem is with the GBA bios as it was taken from an original GBA and maybe it needs the one taken from the NDS/gba bios.

I'm just grasping at straws now..

The GBA bios is seperate to the ARM7 and ARM9 DS ones, it is legally quesitonable to link the bios so I am afraid you will have to hunt for this (30 seconds and the use of google were enough to draw it out). The files you want are called biosnds7.rom and biosnds9.rom. You might also want to try to dump your own: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA018359/nds/ndsbios.html

You need a copy of the firmware as well, this is a bit harder to come by online so I dumped it myself. There are a few firmware dumpers available but I used the SRAM dumper at http://www.natrium42.com/blog/?p=20 with my EZ2, I had to take it off in multiple passes and stick it back together with the copy /b command. For the record I use flashme but that made no difference.
I stuck the all in the same directory as no$gba and fired up eNDcryptS ( http://www.gbadat.altervista.org/tools.htm
), 20 seconds later I am looking at Phoenix Wright.

Yes I seem to have all the correct files thanks to Cosby and Ind. Phoenix Wright among a few other games boot and play alright but Ryuusei no Rockman doesn't even though another member has shown evidence that it does..

I'm just wondering what he's done that I haven't in order to make that game work.

Yeah, I still can't get that to play. I'm thinking maybe the firmware I have is either bad or old. Does it have to be a certain filename?

Edit: Whenever I set the emulator to load the DS Menu instead of the game, the screen stays a grey/black. Even for games that would normally work.

I don't know what's going on with you. I just tell you what I know and I tried it again and again and that game work fine for me.

I couldn't get this dumper to work. The SRAM came out empty... Is there another firmware dumper? Darkfader's only supports CF cards so I can't use that.

The only other firmware dumper I know of had to be hardwired inside the DS and required some serious kit and work to pull off.
For the record the dumper I linked would not work on my EZ4.

Other one:

Xenosaga I-II (J)

Status: Fully playable

Version: 2.3a

Review: Nothing's wrong in real world but when you met the enemies to fight as you seen below in the last screenshot. There is missing background and enemies's body are not fully 3-D color but you are able to fight them without a problem.

Important notice:

Firmware is really necessarily for NDS MENU because if you do not used NDS MENU then this game wont run. I will give you an example: This game is called RYUUSEI NO ROCKMAN - LEO so some games does required NDS MENU to runs!!!

AMPonzi: I hope you will apology to me. It's very useful!
