Hacking NMM (No More Memory)

When using usbloader gx I have enabled NMM for the games that its compatible with and thats working fine
but it does not work for all my gamecube games I have on there so I use my real GC memory card for those games
But if I try and play one of the NMM enabled games with my real memory card plugged in then it wont recgonize the NMM save file on my hdd and will try and create a new save on my real memory card is there a way to get around this? beacuse its confusing which games I use NMM for and dont and not sure if I have to have the memory card in or not

its how DiosMios (Lite) is configured to work.
It will always attempt to use a real memcard if one is found when launched.

It would be nice if NMM would work regardless if there's a memory card there or not.

Ah okay I thought that might have been the case oh well.
I got another question involving NMM
is there a way to convert a NMM save file back to a GCI file?
