If you have a folder which you know works, eg. the first folder in the list maybe, select that first, back out to the root and then select the one which is freezing. Works for me.

I always have the folder problem, but I don't need many codes so just use a program to edit the file and limit it to like 5 codes per game without any folder. One problem I don't like is that it won't boot Dragon Quest V (EU) with codes, those 4 squares do something different and nothing happens.

This post can be later deleted (since this is an old thread), but I want help first, because I am having the same problem with NitroHax .94. When I try navigating folders in the cheat.xml files nitrohax freezes. I have an R4 card and a DS phat. Since file trip has closed, could someone send me a good link to nitrohax .82? And removing folders does work, but it makes it less organized, and I still can’t have more than one game because it will freeze from folder navigation.

Have you ever found a link to .82? I'm on .99 and every time I load NitroHax I'm forced to open the games folder to get to the codes, which then causes a crash. Currently on DSi. Tried searching everywhere and can't find a way to fix the crash issue so I'll resort to .82 if needed.
