I'm pretty sure this works if you use a slot 2 card to boot up a clean dump from a slot 1. (Maybe if you only have 1 romr on there it will work)

the file itself can be used on slot 1 devices, i don't know about slot 2, BUT it does not work with roms so don't bother wasting your time.

You say it works with slot 1 devices, but not with roms. What else would you have one a slot 1 device that isn't a rom that it works with? Unless you are referring to a REAL DS card as a "slot 1 device" which would be weird. Is there a way to load roms on slot 1 devices (like R4) so that the rom is the ONLY thing on that card, and there is no loader? Kind of how you could burn GBA roms on GBA flash carts without loaders to make the GBA flash cart act like a real cart?

Ok, I've been hearing some conflicting information here. Apparently this works only for REAL DS cards, but some people are saying it works for 1 slot cards as well, like M3 Simply or R4? Is this true? Or false?

Personally, I don't think it would work with 1-slot cards since even with the 1-slot, the rom doesn't go straight to the game...it has a loader through which you load the rom. So if the Action Replay is designed to load the game, it won't recognize this loader thing and screw up.

Any confirmation on this?

what i mean by saying it loads on slot 1 flash carts is that the program itself actually loads fine and boots fine, but trying to get it to work on roms does not work at all

what this homebrew does is make the flash cart you have into a action replay so you can use it with original DS games, thats is all.

btw, action replay doesn´t work online, I tried it with mario kart and it does nothing..

it does not work with roms full stop, i've just tried myself, it does the exact same thing as the original action replay does it gets stuck on "loading" seriously man, that's why when pokemon diamond comes out in april i will be buying a original cart so i don't have to deal with crap like this.

edit: i can just confirm that this program works on original DS games fine, loaded game ok and codes worked perfectly.

but pretty pointless for me as i already have a original action replay for the DS.

Anyone have any luck getting this working wtih Animal Crossing? I've had no luck with it. Thought I did get codes for Mr Driller to work so I know what I'm doing is correct. Animal Crossin just won't boot for some reason when it should start to.


did you do anything differently to get the codes to work?

I test out games on my DS and then buy the ones that I play for longer than 5 minutes from Amazon.com. I love the fact that I can keep all my games in one little microsd card. What the hell is the point of this app if I can't even do that.

Useless. And to chishm - fuck you for assuming everyone is pirating their games. I haven't tried any of your homebrew, and sure don't want to touch any of it with a 10' pole now. Enjoy your "pristine" with the homebrew community. *scoff*

lol. Nope, not using the codes on a rom. Though, I'm using M3 Simply to run the program so I swap that out and put my game in. I still have no luck booting Animal Crossing though, so it'd still be nice if someone else could test it.

Just tested it. Works fine, just like a real Action Replay DS. Used it on my MarioKart DS cartridge and no probelms. Does not work with Flash carts. M3 DS Simply get stuck on the loading screen. Whether someone gets roms to work in the future doesn't matter to me as I don't really care. I have more real NDS carts than roms on my HDD. I would like to see a GUI instead of this DOS looking plain menu. Maybe a cool "

" logo.

Can someone please post a sample of how to put cheats into the txt file? Just paste the contents here so I can see an example. I tried loading this, but after loading the codes, and pressing Start, I only get a white screen. Not sure what the problem is, but I think it is the codes aren't being detected.

Make sure you are using codes for the right region, on some games, you cannot run US codes on EU cart etc.

I was just wondering, isn't there an option within the 1card slots that make you boot the game directly without a menu ? ( I used to have this 2-slot card called EFA, and it had the option to boot to a game without going to a menu first ( so you'll just put one game on the card, cheat, put the rest of the games back )

i have been trying with an original copy of animal crossin euro. and no luck either just 2 white screens.
