I tested only two games. Metroid Prime and Evolution Worlds. Metroid Prime have broken aspect ratio too. Broken in another way.
Also, i downloaded Dolphin and made comparisson. Now i'm confused. Dolphin reproduce exactly the same aspect ratio but proportions didn't broken. I played around with nintendont settings and find that with "Force PAL480p" proportions look right and almost identical to Dolphin: http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/209542 Nintendont just slightly cut off image. But i can live with that.
what you are calling wrong aspect ratio is actualy the correct one, nintendont jsut outputs the native stuff the game gives and then the gc itself would fit to perfect 4:3 or 16:9 so yeah the tiny issues your missiong screen left and right is becuase the game didnt output that far and the gc just stretched it to fit 100%.

wiiu widescreen is just to fill the screen instead of 4:3 but try to mess with the width setting and choose a value to your liking, but be aware that manny games crash with width hack so its only recomended if you cant live without that tiny inch of the screen.

Is there a way to disable USB storage loading altogether? Nintendont thinks my controller is a storage device and crashes when I plug it in.
I'm using a third party PS3 controller that passes the HIDTest and works fine with HID-to-VPAD.

preety sure disbling usb would also disable your controller, also maybe your controller needs a custom ini and not a standard ps3 ini.

Waiting for such a thing on the nintendo samich
nintendont cant never be done on the switch becuase it doesnt share the same cpu/gpu from the gc series wich makes nintendont semi native app impossible, what you would need is an full out emulator on the switch wich i highly doubt the switch can pull gc emulation tbh.

that's why i said something similar
But it is powerfull enough for an emulator ^^
just want to play GC on handheld :P

well there isnt anything similar to nintendont lol its a semi native app, i guess the closest thing you can count similar would be the way psp plays ps1 games with semi native style like nintendont, everything else is just emulators were arent similar at all.

From what I understand GC games are coming to the Switch VC at some point.
that is what people think of rumours and stuff they made up, nintendo never at any point talked about a gc VC, people asked for gc and they said they were aware of the interest, i can see the switch having manny hd remakes of gc games imo but an actual gc VC is very unlikely imo.

Hello.. I have some problem.. I have one classic controller & one classic controller pro. Both of them cannot read my half press input on L or R. I tried with ZL combination too, but nothing happens. Please, help me. I want to play Mario sunshine so bad.

those are called rumors. Also that article is from december last year, im sure if nintendo already had those 3 gc games all working great than they would have release them by now, also they cant even be playable if they are just emulated speciay sunshine, the switch has digital trigers so you cant run and spray unless they call it VC and then release a mod of the game wich has that retriction removed and you can run even when full holding.

im guessing fake CC and fake CCpro correct?

if your CC was real you wouldnt need half presses with zl since the L button works just fine and its pressure sensitive and nintendont does not emulate the zl half press on original CC

if your CCpro is official you can press ZL+L never letting go of either and Zl+R to do half presses, if its fake its most likely that it reports to the wii has being a CC rather than CCPRO alot of fakes and third partys do this and since nintendont sees its a CC and not pro it will again not emulate the half press.

Thank you for the answer.. Correct. Both of mine are fake third party :( but they work perfectly for wiivc WiiWare and wii game.. So no workaround for this problem? How about fake third party GameCube joystick, will it work?

they also work fine in nintendont lol except your fake CC has no analog triggers since chinese crap made digital ones to save money and the pro one uses dodgy code and reports as a normal CC since lazyness so yeah they all work fine as normal CC with digital trigers since barely any game on wii used those analog triggers at all.

again fake stuff/3rd party is never recomended it might work or not its a game of chance.

There could be well a "fix" if someone recompiled nintendont and made CC also emulate the half press but you would have to ask around for a coder to recompile nintendont and change it.

I think i will ask around on github, maybe someone will give a hand to solve this problem.. That emulation button will makes my two crap joystick useful lol. Thanks for your great answers.. Really helpful :)

I occasionally get a blank white screen while playing Path of Radiance. This time I got a black screen after saving from completing a chapter.

Yeah I was using a forwarder. Thats unfortunate that there isn't a fix for that yet
I'm using a forwarder and it's been working fine for a few versions of nintendont now. Confirmed working on at least v4.440 and v4.442. Pretty sure I just googled for a forwarder and took whatever I found for the WiiU.
