The Classic Controller Pro is the only one they make now. The slippery lozenge-shaped one was discontinued when the Pro came out.
The original Classic Controller is better as it has Analog Shoulder buttons. I know some 3rd parties made adapters to give the Classic Controller a better feel.

@GreyWolf did you ever figure out how to implement "installing" capabilities to your GCN tool? I've been eagerly waiting for that :)

I started a different one that does everything. I can bundle it up and PM you a test version of it later if you like.

Install isn't complete yet but it does do hash calculations and put the images in the proper folders and renames them.

Sure. I'd be happy to test it. Please, do send it to me. :grog:

This question has probably been asked before and I didn't see it but has anyone ever tested this with those Hori Battlepads? They're basically classic controllers with the same shape and buttons as a gamecube controller. It says wii U on the box but in reality it has to plug into a wiimote to work.

Yes, they work exactly like a Classic Controller Pro (but that means you don't get analogue triggers)

Yeah, they work fine. I tend to use mine with Nintendont when I want a wireless controller instead.

These are the GC classic controllers I was talking about, I see them every now and then at the mall but they're more expensive than the regular ones, I been tempted to get one but if you say they don't have analog triggers then the more reason I'm glad I got the regular classic controller instead, I might get more of these seeing how they're cheap now.

You can also look for a 3rd party grip to make it feel more like the CCP

I got a question how do I get cheats to work with nintendont? I tried using some gameshark codes with fire emblem in the correct folder POE but either nothing changes or I get black screen upon loading my game (I am using a wii 4.3u) no clue what to do to get them working..

Hey. Hi.
So.... Should I go somewhere to download your app? Are you PMing it to me or?...:D
Just checking...:yayu:

Just mentioning this, at the mall last night I found classic controllers for Wii on sales so I gave in and bought one, the regular classic controller not the pro one since it's compatible with more games, I bought it especially for when I mod my Wii U I have something reliable to test with for Nintendont and other homebrews so now I shall be ready to upgrade.

btw if I softmod the vWii will I still be able to play Wii U games online normally with updates and such?
btw since your always complaining about bios with real mc someone found out bios 1.2 works perfectly with real mc while the older ones dont so maybe try and get bios 1.2?

^That would be great, how do I know if it's the 1.2 or not? I only need the US one since I always use the EmuMC now for the Japanese games and the one European game I have.

someone on github said 1.2 ntsc bios works everytime with reals mcs i think the reason it never worked for you was becuase you were suing 1.0 or 1.1 maybe.

Im experiencing random crashes at game startup with Nintendont when having the Memorycard Option ON, both single and multi. When having Memorycard disabled I can go back and forth Nintendont and Homebrew Channel, load as many different games I want and it's 100% stable. The crashes are periodically and ramdom, though. So probably not corrupt savefiles but It seems to get slightly worse when using a faster SD card.

Anyone else experiencing this, could it be a bug in how Nindont loads savefiles?
