Not an issue, however...

I'm running f-zero gx pal, with progressive patch ON and video mode force ntsc 480p. Game runs fine but for some reason GC splash screen is not displayed (while is displayed for all other games, including pal ones, I have all the three bios). Is that intended?

well fzero doesnt need force progressive patch, even the pal version asks for progressive if ntsc signal is found(its one of the 5 or 6 games that are pal with true progressive) so yeah just force videomode ntsc and the progressive will be pure instead of hacked in.

Ok, I turned off progressive patch. Actually:

With standard video settings, game is displayed in 576i 50hz. GC splash screen is displayed. I get the 60hz prompt
With force ntsc option, the game is displayed in 480i 60hz. No GC splash screen, No progressive prompt
With force ntsc 480p option, the game is displayed in 480p 60hz. Again, no GC splash screen and no progressive prompt

However, I got the GC splash screen AND 480p by selecting "force pal 480p". So, problem solved :)

I haven't tried patching widescreen mode yet. Too many games simply won't work right.

That being said, Has anyone tried GCMUtility? It's the officially accepted iso shrinker for the Dolphin Emulator and it seems to work great without any audio misalignment (though I've only played a little of each game and don't know how a bad audio file would sound like). It allowed me to squeee my entire Gamecube collection onto a 16GB sd card with room to spare.
The "Official" Shrinker here is DMTool with the Auto option on. I believe GMCTool causes issues with audio streaming games.

Sorry to sound like a newbie, but is there a tutorial on how to set up a Custom HID Profile with my Controller so that I can play Monkey Ball 2 with my 3rd-Party PS3 Controller? :)

Hello so I homebrewed my Wii U's Wii Menu and everything seems to be working well however I can not for the life of me get a controller to work with the Gamecube games. I've been trying to get my ps4 controller working but after no luck I tried my ps3 controller no luck.

Select on ps3 controller is the exit button same for ps4, so if its freezing im gussing you are using fowarders, nintendont cant safley exit a foward without that fowarder having a full stub wich are very rare, ps3/ps4 controllers only works with the usb cable and all you need to do is hit the ps button ingame or nintendont menu to activate them, you can only use one hid controller at a time so you cant do multiplayer with ps3 and ps4 controller at the same time, to do custom button mapping you need to download the controllers zip pack on nintendont and then go to your pc and get the ps3 controller.ini there, change that to your button config and then place the file on the root of usb/Sd renamed only to controller.ini

Is fire emblem and mario sunshine really working without random crash? here i'm having problems...
like pople said check your isos if the iso md5 matches redump then maybe your forcing some settings that shouldnt be forced into them.
