My first reaction was oi, what the hell kind of fix is that, but that's actually what solved it. Problemo solvedemo, thank you.
i think someone should add this to the OP

Ps3 controller when plugged keeps freezing games and nintendont?
Solution press the ps3 reset button.

Can somebody please tell me if this is normal and if not, What do i need to do to solve this:

I played Mariokart Arcade GP. After finishing a race I'm asked if I want to go on playing or not. I chose not.
Then it starts saving. On the screen there is a message: "saving game data", but then nothing more happens.
Activating the drive-LED as IO-indicator tells me at this point that the drive is busy. It seems as if the game is not able to finish the process.
Though I see it is saved when closing and restarting Nintendont and the game because my progress is there.

My problem is this kind of freezing at the save-screen and not knowing if this is normal or probably a misconfiguration of my nintendontinstallation.

I updated Nintendont today. v3.371??? im not shure which version and can`t power it on now. All settings standart and mememu set to 251. Old Wii with GC-ports.

Edit: Or does this game save at a complete different point and this save-screen is ignoreable?

its normal the game saves after afew seconds but then you need to do an exti combo or turn off the console, the game is expecting you to remove the save card wich we cant since we dont phisicaly have a save card to remove lol so yeah its normal just wait afew seconds like 5 or so and then do the exit combo or just click the shutdown button on the console.

Thank you Pedro702. I have another question: I use an Original-Wii-ClassicController. Is it possible to switch A-button and right-shoulder-button just for this game?

just for one game i dont think so, you would need to recompile nintendont with the switched buttons for all triforce games not sure how to do that tough since controller code is hard..

OK. Thank you Pedro702. I see though i'd like to have it and yes, for both mk-gp-games. :) But I dont know if it would be of good use for virtua soccer and F-Zero Ax, too. forinstance fix94 might look at it if he likes?

Edit:These are the only Triforce-Games beeing supported by Nintendont that I know about.

New problem of a totally different kind; Kirby Air Ride simply doesn't work. Rather than a 'fix this part of what you were doing', does anyone have a guide to getting it working at all? DMT and GCIT are both having mounds of glitches with it, and in the one occasion on which I got it to show up in Nintendont, it was just a black screen. Really psising me off atm.

kirby air ride is one of the very few uncompressable games, just leave it as is.

so.. just convert it to .iso form and plop it into nintendont as 'game.iso' and hope it works? should I convert it to .iso with dmtool?
No. Make sure you are using an UNTOUCHED iso. It should be either 1.35GB or 1.46GB depending on you OS. Don't take a shrunk ISO and try to restore it back to 1.35GB as it won't work.

I have a .gcm, made by extracting 12 n-kar pieces of .zip into each other; the result was around 630 MB. Where can I find a 1.35GB .iso for the game, if anywhere?

For one, GCM and ISO mean the same thing so you would simply change the extension from vcm to iso. Second, due the forum rules we can't show you where to download the game. Best bet is to rip the game yourself.

I figured. Will find a way! :gba:
when you get the gcm and this is valid for every game being gcm or iso, nintendont prefers the games untoched, just rename the gcm or iso to game.iso and it will work, untoched isos have better compatibility there is no need for conversions on nintendont you dont need to convert anything just rename.

Quick question, I'm having problems loading pokemon box on the latest version. It just loads the opening credits and black screens. Any help is appreciated!

I have kirby air ride compressed and working fine, I used "wiped_gcm_fixer" tool to make it work though
You can find this tool in this Gamecube Tools pack

(Begin Rant)Sorry for intruding but I can't stand when people use the term Compression when referring to removing the garbage data from a GameCube/Wii ISO. You are not compressing anything. The correct term is shrinking the ISO as data is destructively being removed from the ISO. This is unlike when you compress a PSP ISO as that data is actually being compressed and nothing is being removed.
(End Rant)

Now back on topic.
