umm i use nintendont mod and everything is set to how its ment to be. i use gamecube and wii mote/nunchuck both controllers are like the originals every game i played thats ment to be inverted is inverted

No the controls have always been this way. I was just wondering if there is anything that can be done to fix them at all?
if you wanted to change the entire controller for up to be down and down to be up it would be simple as you would compile nintendont with switched offsets from up and down(of course this would affect all games. But if you want to change only parts of it i think you would need a hacker to make some codes.

or keep them as normall and ingame change it to the correct setting you like? i done the same with time splitters 2 its normally inverted but i go to in game settings and change it to my likeing. im sure most games will allow this

Nothing is more important than the decisions of the developer with his free coding time. If you don't have any use for some new widescreen patches, which are always nice, you're more than welcome to take the source and fix remaining problems by yourself. It's pretty simple really.

I'm off to test the Metroid Prime widescreen, it's great that i waited to play the game all this time.
I know this was directed towards sonictopfan, but I'd like to say that I'm not at all upset with FIX94's decisions of what to code. I'm always happy to see that he is working on Nintendont. If you are reading this, Fix, thank you for everything. All of my words from earlier were meant for only pedro702. I'd love to learn and work on the source, btw.

I have the same opinion as ccfman2004. I like and prefer the Metroid Prime Trilogy controls. The achievement system and unlockables are innovative for a Wii game, too.
He didnt said any of the games that had trouble saving and they arent on the wiki so its not like we need to guess are we?I just told you why fix didnt fixed gtcube, midway arcade 2 noise or powerpuff girls sound, that wasnt me making stuff up, fix took a look at them several times but couldnt fix them, and your like crucifying him for doing a specifiq widescreen code that he liked to do, heck if he wanted to loose his time just updating a single crappy game it would be his choice, its his time.
sonictopfan said some games crash as soon as they boot if using real MC. That is both not being able to save or play the game. I'm sure they are in the wiki, he just didn't say them as they have been reported before. As for the stuff you mentioned, I know it was true, I wasn't talking about that in my previous post. I was talking about how I agree with him about how more important it is that that stuff gets fixed than an improved widescreen patch for MP is all. As I said above, I'm happy that Fix is working this project in general, so he can do what he wants and I'll accept it graciously. It doesn't mean that sonictopfan is wrong. It's just the facts. If I can do it, I'll tackle the problems myself, but as I said a long time ago, I'm only experienced in Java and Lua and I forgot most of it anyway. Thanks for helping out everyone that needs it though, pedro.

No those games issues of not working with real MC arent in the wiki.

Oh, I thought you meant that you were saying that the games themselves weren't in the wiki. Whoever reported the issues originally must not have put them in it. I wish we knew what games they were so it could be added.

The wiimote is a nice controller for FPS, but Gamecube version has better visual than Wii. they removed some visual and special effects on Wii :(

If it's your first time playing it, try completing it :)
it has a good "metroid feeling", more adventure than FPS.
and yes, you have a lot of area to explore. a lot of searches to do too.

Thanks for the patches.

Really, What did they remove for the Wii versions? :S

im sorry but if the game shooting doesnt have a option to invert your out of luck, you would need a custom cheatcode to change the adress of the shooting only portion of the aim to invert, or like a normal human you get used to it, after afew levels im preety sure everyone adaptes to the choices the devs made.

ripple effect in the water
heat effect at the output of your weapon after a lot of shots
some effect around your weapon (Electricity/mist/ice/ etc. all around your weapon with each full charged beam type. Look at the wave beam electricity on your arm, weapon getting frozen on GC, heat particule escaping the weapon, etc.)
some effect around the save pod

Gamecube first, Wii at 2:19

this youtube comment makes sense
This is to do with how Retro did the effects as they are not attached to the cannon, but to a certain part of the screen. Since you can move the cannon around now, the effects would be floating on nothing.

just an update for today which might make some people happy:
-removed the need of kenobiwii by including a codehandler into the kernel, this codehandler has a higher compatibility with codes and can load more cheats total (gcts up to 8KB)
Oh god! Oh God!!
Gonna try Metroid Prime With codes Today! Hope it works now! The same, right? game.gct along with game .iso?
I was having issues with Pikmin. Codes work, but game freezes after a while.
I´m really glad to see nintendont is getting better and better!
Thank you again, Fix94!!
