Uh...damn, sorry, I really shouldn't have asked such a stupid question. Disregard :( FML.

fyi, fst was something for dios-mios because iso reading wasnt too optimized. I did put in quite the work though in nintendont to get up bigger caches and have nearly instant moving times inside the iso which makes reading from iso in nintendont so, so much quicker than fst since that is not nearly as optimal.

Once again, I hope that I didn't come across as snooty or demeaning, and if I did, that was not my intent. My deepest apologies, that's what I get for being ignorant I suppose.

Hey, it's better to ask than to remain ignorant or without knowledge about it.
I didn't know either. :P

fst is only a good option if there is mods and such, since you can replace files directly instead of using an iso inject tool, but since GC isnt known for its mods that is quite rare, but besides that no one should ever use FST.

you can do as you like, if your have your wii connected to the web then update inside nintendont its simpler, but its exactly the same as a manual update lol.
Just to know if I update inside nintendont ( i do have my wii online ) would work. I will try as soon I get home.
Thanx!

just so you know, there is no "installer" or anything, the loader.dol is in fact the whole nintendont program, it doesnt need anything else, its highly complex file containing multiple programs already which get used on runtime.

I know that, it's just a way of "speaking". Because I want to "install" it as a channel on my wii, just like I did with the LSVX-something.wad version of it.
I hope I can update it today and try the cheats again. Hope it works too!

I've never gotten the cheats to work either. Since I own original discs of all my GameCube games, I play them with cheats using a patched MIOS and Gecko OS mod. I'm eager to hear if/how it works for you with Nintendont.

No problem, Mr. Mysterio, as soon as possible I´ll come back here with info on the new nintendont update.

Cheats work for me, but most of the ones that involve input from a controller do not work due to different memory locations or something.
Before some of the game-specific widescreen hacks got merged in I was using the widescreen codes for them. I've been using USB Loader GX and have kenobiwii.bin placed in a few locations on my drive (is this still necessary?)

Hm, hey, quick question: I wanted to play Ikaruga from my usb, but whenever I press "start new game" on the menu, the game freezes. I've checked the wiki and it says that the game works, but the version of Nintendon't is v2.148. I wanted to download that version to see if the game worked, but on the Nintendon't site the versions are listed as r322 and on. So, if I wanted v2.148, I'd have to download r214? I don't really get it...

It's going to be r 148.
Try with this revision. If the game still crash, then you may have a bad iso.

I haven't played that game for a while but last I checked it worked fine, played all the way!
