Hey guys,

I'm trying to use an external 500GB HDD to store the games, but Nintendont doesn't recognize any games on it. The drive is formatted to fat32 with 8k cluster size or whatever. I know the directories are correct because I copied the folders and files to a flash drive and it recognize the games.

Secondly, even though the flash drive is recognized the game doesn't start. Just a black screen. I'm trying to run golden eye btw.

What error do you get on the 500gb drive?

It just say no game directory found or something similar to that. I got Melee to work on the flash drive though. That's a start.

Do you think I need the bios for golden eye to work? Melee works without it.

bios doesnt do anything, no game needs bios its just a visual thing, if the game list doesnt appear something isnt named correctly imo, are you on the wii or wiiu?

Just wanted to say that mastermod rev 330 is up with working in-app download links for all themes and bios files (except custom game loader themes)
link in my sig
patch up to date too
hopefully the game themes issue will be solved soon too

Speaking of which, where is SonicTopFan? I haven't seen him since a good while. He should have been first saying what you just said
Did someone call? :p

I have been away from this topic and all this drama because I been using rev320 perfectly fine, did the bios lag get fixed? I have been missing out with the new updates!

Ive been testing more games, the japanese Robocop game has broken controls, butt ugly martians does not boot (using ntsc console, tried to force ntsc), and NARUTO Gekitô Ninja Taisen! 3 [G3NJDA] hard freezes the console when you press start at the start screen.
Last time I checked it worked fine :/

Who changed "Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut (Preview)" to orange with 3.329 on the compatibility list? The only issue is a widescreen issue, apart that, this preview is entirely playable, I'm wrong? As it is playable without activating an option, it should be green. Sorry, but it is annoying, there were only GT Cube and someone adds SA DX: Director's Cut (Preview) only for widescreen...:P
The game runs fine but you need to use EmuMC, probably it was tested with real MC only in which case it seems to black screen, haven't tested it with real MC in a while so this maybe fixed, I remember there was another Japan exclusive game I reported earlier that also black screens with real MC but works fine with EmuMC!

bios lag did get fixed update to 330 when you can to test it for yourself.

Alright I'll do the testing when I get home, does the online updater still work btw?

Edit: it seems the bios lag was fixed in 328 according to the changes page

Code:
-restricted the aggressive timer patching to the hobbit, fixes various side
problems such as pikmin 2 crashing and the gc bios slowing down
-changed the exi interrupt times a bit to further prevent lagging in the gc bios
and in triforce games

I'm using a WiiU. I'm pretty sure I named Melee correctly at least. I literally just copied the directory from the external HDD to my desktop and then to my flash drive. I then tested Melee ran fine, albeit buggy at times. I have a GameCube controller adapter btw.

Take two:
On the root of your flash drive (that's what your using with Nintendont, correct?), you should have a folder named "games". It must be named that, letter for letter. In that folder, you have individual folders containing your isos. These folders can be named whatever you want. In these folders, you should only have one iso each, which should be named game.iso (again, letter for letter) no matter what game it is.

What brand and model drive/enclosure is it? Some of them have encryption built into the controllers that screws up data transfers. I know at least one of the WD external drives has it.

The games are listed when using my flash drive, but not on my HDD. I'll copy the directories again and see what happens. Is there a particular port I should use for the HDD?
