delete the ini if you are using the 323 rev you dont need controller inis unless you want a custom buttom layout.

I don't see anything in the change logs about not needing a controller.ini. Can you show me the change log?

Nevermind, I see it was done back in r304.

yeah all controller inis on the repository as off that date are into memory now so you dont need controller inis at all, unless you use a diferent hid device from all those 21 or want a custom controller layout.

Too bad we can't have a custom button layout on a per game basis. One of the games I play, I have issues with the default layout and I am constantly forgetting to press the "minus" button to rotate the layout.

Where do I put the GC adapter on Wii U then The back? The front?
Try the back bottom for the gray cable. The other cable is for rumble and can be placed in any other port, even an external USB charger.

use a diferent cable or the same cable on both? maybe one of them cant support 1080p and you think it does?
I know the cables I'm using support 1080p cause i'm able to play Wii U with it. The only time I get the mismatched resolution thing is when I start up a game in Nintendont. The gamepad will show that the game is playing but the tv won't display it.

Thanks. I have seen this thread before but didn't read all the replies because s/he has an NTSC Wii, whereas I have a PAL Wii which does output RGB. I'm a noob with Wii, but I know about other softmodding. For PS2 for example RGB seems to be 'global' in that if you change to NTSC then you will still get full colour on a PAL console provided you have compatible cables and TV of course.

Just to clarify, and correct me if I'm wrong, it seems like the Wii can't output RGB in NTSC mode on even a PAL Wii? If true that is crazy and different to lower spec consoles like the PS2. So it is like in NTSC mode the Wii is expecting an s-video signal?

This is correct. The SDK's video modes only allow RGB output when using a PAL mode; however, PAL60 is basically equivalent to "NTSC", so using a PAL60 mode (aka EuRGB60) should work with RGB cables.

Sidenote: I keep seeing this misinformation that a red screen means your TV doesn't support NTSC. This is wrong; it means the Wii is set to an "NTSC" mode when you have an RGB cable connected, but it has nothing to do with the actual NTSC vs. PAL signal, since RGB doesn't use either of those encodings. The fact that Wii doesn't support RGB when using an NTSC mode is an entirely artificial limitation by Nintendo.

never heard that before dkn what to say really since the resolution doesnt change and i never heard someone saying it doesnt work on their tv lol

that is correct, so yeah nintendo didnt want people using ntsc mode with rgb cables well thats that then.

I just noticed Turok Evolution is marked as red now.

Can someone verify such issue?
So far only GT Cube and Freekstyle were the only two other games in orange, but that red looks painful to my eyes. T-T

Could have something to do with the way I did the files on the flash drive? Like if I re-did everything might that fix it? I'm just grasping at straws here lol.

it was confirmed by several ppl turok got broken since early 300
it became more unstable as it went on.

Everyone already verified it so its correct and broken atm. Also I took a small step back from nintendont and just started actually checking out gc homebrew such as the latest Game Boy Interface, a game boy player startup disc replacement by Extrems, its great:
