Okay so I just got Nintendont but whenever I go to play the game it says the the resolution is mismatched(my TV says this). My TV is 1080p with 60refresh so I shouldn't be having a problem. Any fix for this? Like changing the settings in Nintendont?

you got your wiiu tv display set on 1080p?

It must be used as an HID/USB input.

And just a final question. When I boot up a game on nintendont, if the ps3 controller is plugged in, it will freeze. However, if I boot it up first and then plug it in, it works fine. Is it supposed to do that or is it a glitch. I just updated nintendont to see if it was just an older version but afterwards, it still did it

well theres nothing you can do about nintendont menu being red but the games you should be able to force pal60 on them to get pal colors altough some games might not want forced videomodes due to the way they are coded, its so wierd ppl still use this old tvs that dont accept ntsc signals, im hopping your tv atleast accepts pal 60 and isnt an 50hz only tv.

Is Mario double dash one of those games? If so is there a patch/way around the problem? But more importantly, why is Nintendont displaying with a red tinted/saturated screen in the first place? I watched some tutorials on youtube and on there and Nintendont has a white background. So, even before I get to the Gamecube games the screen is red. I was testing with NTSC Mario Kart Double Dash (because as you know the PAL version is slower). I tried force PAL60 from usb loader gx but the screen is still red on both Nintendont and the game itself. I'm not sure what to set region patch to so I left the other stuff alone.

I'm just trying to isolate the cause of the problem. My TV is a good old fashioned CRT which accepts composite (crap) and RGB through scart (awesome when you use the official Wii RGB scart cable). It is also capable of 60Hz NTSC and there is usually no problem with colours. In fact it is amazing with older games, better than most non crt tvs and in retroarch I can display 240p and many other resolutions.

Ps - Is this wiibrew video output wiki relevant?
Many homebrew applications have suffered from poor support for different PAL modes. These problems can largely be avoided by using the appropriate functions within libogc to use the video mode which the user has selected from the Wii system menu.

It's not sure whether RGB output is only available in PAL version or if the AV Encoder chip can be configured by software to switch between S-Video and RGB signal outputs. Indeed, earlier Wii homebrew applications would display wrong colors (satured red) on a PAL Wii when using RGB cable and libogc usual video mode (EURGB60), which seems to indicate that S-Video was indeed output. This was fixed by adding proper configuration of the AV Encoder chip.

it does that becuase the default nintendont signal is ntsc which means it wonk look good on noone compatible tvs wich aparently is your case, your tv does not support ntsc signals thats why its red, if it did support ntsc signals it wouldnt show nintendont menu red like your sugesting.

i have an hdtv that has no issues with nintendont but if i try on my old tv its everything red due to not accepting ntsc stuff so i doubt your tv aceppts ntsc really or else there wouldnt be any red at all.My guess is maybe your cable doesnt send a pure ntsc signal to the tv so even if your tv supported ntsc the signal when it reaches there reaches like turned to pal without any decoding for the colors, do you have a diferent wii tv cable? if you do try with another one.

Also Pal games arent slower ... specialy mkDD, manny pal games have the 60hz mode which includes mkDD, and even if they didnt 50hz doesnt make any game slower it just has less frames per second but its the exact same speed, so if your tv cant handle ntsc signals my sugestion is get a pal iso of mkDD and try it, you will see there wont be any red then.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can play NTSC suikoden 2 on my PS1 and all my NTSC PS2 games on the same TV with no colour problems. I have since tested NTSC New Super Mario bros on Wii, leaving the video setting on 'system default' (I think it was - and My Wii is set to 60hz on the system menu) and that was fine apart from huge black borders. It seems to be a Nintendont/RGB/game specific issue which I am in the process of testing.

all i can say is if it shows red then its ntsc signal not being decoded.

How are you loading Nintendont, HBC or another loader? Are you sure you are using the latest version of Nintendont? One of the more recent version removed the need to manually turn HID on and now it is automatically detected.

So do only the GC adapter and Mayflash GC adapter work? Dang, I wanted to use my nexilux adapter for my Wii U for Nintendont.

Yes it is set to 1080p. I'm playing my games from a flash drive if that makes any difference. I just can't figure out what the problem is cause my TV in the living room has the same specs but Nintendont works fine in there
use a diferent cable or the same cable on both? maybe one of them cant support 1080p and you think it does?

I tried it with my GC adapter, but it didn't work. Do I need to put the controller.ini file somewhere else? I put it in the root of the SD card.

Are you sure it's named "controller.ini" and not "controller.ini.ini". Windows for a stupid reason defaults to hide extensions. Are you sure you are using the right controller.ini?

if your using the lastest version you dont need any ini the latest in 324 since the controller inis are stored into memory now so all you need is start 324 make sure your adapter is set on wiiu mode not on pc or anything like that plug the controller on the first port losts of ppl put it on the 4th lol and when seing nintendont menu it should work.
