just try this where i imported the spyro save to a 251 blocks memory card instead and see if it freezes.

i can already tell your problem 16 mb memory card... your eating up all nintendont memory.

Really? That's odd, but I'll try the individual memory card option and see what happens. In any case, thanks for the info~

EDIT - I see your other reply. I'll try that one and see what happens.

Sorry it took so long. Seems you put the wrong save file on the memory card you uploaded ("A Hero's Tail", as opposed to Enter the Dragonfly). I was able to get it sorted out with Dolphin's memory card manager, so thanks for the help regardless.

In any case, I'm sad to report that even with the smaller 2mb memory card, Nintendont still locked up at that particular portal. I'll try again, just to make double sure... but it seems like on Nintendont, this portal is simply a roadblock.

Could you try a new ISO? We never know.

sorry about that lol tomorow i will take a try at that since its late here today incase you havent sorted the issue until then, if you can give more instructions from the place we spawn until that portal it would be good since i will probably enter the wrong one lol.

That's one of the first things I thought to try, actually. I downloaded an ISO from... some place I shall not mention, but it did the exact same thing, I'm afraid.

And if it helps, the ISO I was using before is uncompressed. The ISO I downloaded was, so perhaps that might have something to do with it.

Ehh, no worries. Besides, the file you gave me was helpful regardless (since I used it to re-insert the correct file and all), so it's all good. :)

I'm not too good at directions, so use the video below as a guide. Skip to 12:08; see when he jumps down instead of using that bridge? The portal is down below. You can't miss it, as you can even see it in the distance. Just know that when you do play it, hit the L button to switch to Ice Breath to freeze those robo dinosaurs (otherwise they'll keep attacking you).

To anyone who hates themselves like me and has tried getting 100% in Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly, have any of you ran into crashing issues when going through a portal to a new area? It seems random, but powering down and trying again usually seems to work. However, it seems whenever I try to go through the portal in Jurassic Jungle (the one that leads to the lava slide minigame), Nintendont will lock up every single time (and I've tried up to six or more times... exact same results). It's not the ISO I made, as I went through the portal while playing on the disc on an actual Gamecube and the game loads just fine. And, as blasphemous as it is to mention this name here, it even loads perfectly fine in Devolution, too.

Some info; tried this on both a Wii and Wii U via an SD card. I believe the revision is whatever was present when I hit "update" this morning (roughly about eight hours ago... and yeah, the older revision I was using before I updated, which was a good three months old or so, did the same thing). Let me know if I need to provide any more info.

If you are using the launch version of this game, you will likely encounter issues not related to Nintendont as this version is BUGGY AS HELL on the real GameCube. Try to find the fixed version. I had the issue where I couldn't break a metal bottle containing the last gem in the game to get 100%. This game is one of the buggiest GameCube games out there.

Oh trust me, being my first time playing through the game, I've noticed... many problems... many of which I'm sure is definitely not the fault of Nintendont. Thankfully, I was lucky enough not to run into any unbreakable bottles, but there were plenty of times where enemies refused to drop a gem upon defeat, leading me to run around a stage confused for about an hour until I finally reset the stage and defeated said enemy again... but that was only after about the third or fourth time I re-killed 'em...

With that said, as I stated above, it seems the crash doesn't happen at all when playing off the disc or running the same ISO through Devolution. I tried multiple times on all three... the disc and Devolution work, and Nintendont always crashes (regardless of 16mb or 2mb memory cards). It's definitely odd... but we'll see if the same happens to pedro702 tomorrow when he tests it out.

(If anything, it's no biggie if I have to use another program. And considering the game in-question, it should be a low priority to fix, since I doubt there's too many people eager to 100% this game. lol)

I was using a WODE to play this game from my ripped disc.

Can you post the MD5 or SHA1 hash of this game? Just want to rule out a bad rip. Make sure it's the 1:1 version and not the shrunk version.

If this can be reproduced and is not related to the ISO itself then this will have to be looked into as it is a game breaking issue.

Using my WODE I was able to 100% this game. Sure it took me a few different ISO to do it.

This being said, I really appreciate everything that has been done and I'm not complaining because Fix or the other devs haven't fixed my problem and I'm some selfish brat or something. I'm complaining because they haven't even said they will fix it. Please don't ban me.
but they don't have to. Seriously stop entitling yourself to complain from other peoples free work. If you want widescreen from swiss then apply it yourself and contribute
