People complaining about loading times, keep in mind they take just as long on real hardware, besides have you seriously not played a Wii U or even a PS3 game? Even running from a hard drive loading screens seem like an eternity, stop whining!

People are implacable, they want perfection but want good speeds, face it people, beggars can't be choosers.

so I finally found a workaround for this last stupid sonic game,...

I'll let this one slip only because I'm happy this game finally works, and it being my most played GC game of all time (well that and Mario Party 6).

I think Fix was pissed about the fact sonic games had all different problems. Don't take it as a personnal insult

yeah every sonic game needed individual atention except sonic adventure 2 lol all other sonic games were needed to check one by one to fix their issues becuase they all had some sort of wierd issue diferent from all other games lol.

I don't remember Sonic Heroes or Shadow The Hedgehog having any problems O.o

Anyway, looks like I'll finally no longer need Dios Mios, I guess I'll reinstall my original Mios then just for the sake of being genuine.

sonic heroes need gfx fixed on the joint attacks early on and shadow i consider it a shadow game not a sonic game

-wrote a special arstartdma exception for the last 2 broken games, ghost recon 2 and rainbow six 3, now both should run just fine

I have never played those games before but now EVERY game is playable. Now we just need them timer fixes and Nintendont will have perfect compatibility

That was only devo actually, Heroes was working correctly from a very early rev with no specific patches.

nintendont now has no more freezes and only 4 games now need a timer fix becuase they play too fast other than that every game works perfectly, just played 3 ghost recon 2 missions in a row and the entire training mission on rainbow six 3 all good.

since RE4 is on the nfs2 arstartdma exception im guessing the demo needs too that is all.

i played 3 games and exited them just fine the other day so my guess is the person that did that was using some wierd shrunken iso or forced settings.

ok I deleted my config file on my hard drive and downloaded the dol of 311 manually this time to test with my setup
it's an original white wii with component cables. using a wd elements usb 3.0 drive with a sansdisk 512mb SD card right now. might move my apps to the USB when I get time.
I think I was on 2.296 too when pretty much everything worked fine for me, but was really only playing Luigi's Mansion at the time. wah wah wah.
So I'll have to go back and test that here and see what's what.
Is there anyway I can provide console logs so you can see what's happening?
I bought this hard drive because I saw it was the most compatible overall. It's tiny, fast and needs no power. I like.
And without this tool I don't think I would be getting back into gaming again. After all these years. I still love good games. There is a major lack of them today I think.
Anyways. I want to help anyway I can to make this even better.
Is there anyway to add easily in the updates menu a way to downgrade to a previous version? And mark the last "favorite" release? This might help testing going forward.

oh I haven't had time to play since last night. I'm a busy dude but I'm planning on hooking this up and trying things out. will report back.
3.309 was the last version I tried. And it had long black screens for me on Rogue3, Rogue2 wouldn't play.
But they may had been a corrupt loader or settings file since I was getting the crash after update. Something might have gone whacky.
Starting fresh, you know?
