lol i have mcemu on when i play triforce games including the mkgp raw save there and doesnt do anything bad lol the file is just there so is the bin and the saving works wonders i never take mc emu off.

Hmmm... That's odd, because there are a few isolated cases (including myself) where that DOESN'T work

i didnt even knew triforce worked with mcemu off all this timethey only worked with mcemu on so i never disbled mc emu on them and i have both save files working for both mkgps now and i didnt deleted the older raw files either.

Hi, how can I get the tech demo for Princess Peach's Castle to run? In the Nintendont compatibility list all it says is "Header must be modified to appear in the Nintendont loader" but I am not sure where to go from here

Open up any hex editor and edit the header

or just use a usb loader to launch it via Nintendont

So I WAS right about MCEmu=On breaking saving on Triforce games... Ok, good to know!

Right, I tested that and I've been meaning to report back: it works, but it is essential that one deletes the previous save files, otherwise the game will lock up whenever it tries to write to the .bin file
not absolutely positive thats what fixed my problem but the games do suddenly work. dont see how it could matter cus my understanding Fix94 hard coded nintendont to use those card save bin files when playing those games so they shouldnt even be using mcemu regardless if its on or off.

According to the chart OoT/MQ (NTSC) should support widescreen hack, but it does not work for me. It's just stretched 4:3. Using latest nintendont in vWii.

does anyone know how to disable the Z button when playing triforce games. I've accidentally hit it twice now and its frustrating when you got a good race going and it suddenly turns black to go into test mode that i cant get out of without turning off my wii

But does it have to be edited to anything specific? I have the most basic knowledge of hex editors, so I'd be at a loss unless I had instructions of sorts

I did think of opening it via a loader, but for consistency I would also like to have it show up in Nintnedont as well

You just need to change it to something Nintendont can read. Change it to GALE01 which is super smash bros melee

maybe someone else here can help you more

I'll try this suggestion and if I don't have luck I will look around here more. I think I saw a user on page 600+ that got it working so I'll contact him. Thanks

I have updated to every revision as it is released . All 4 Triforce games work perfect from Nintendont and Usb loader GX with the original .raw and Bin saves there no need to delete.

what's "Vs Bonus" = "off" about in GP2 bios?

Edit: also noticing that ds3 controller sometimes keep blinking 4 leds when ps button pressed instead of led 1 becoming always on, it works fine though when this happens!
It happened to me a couple of time, which was because of almost died battery.

I was playing Rogue Squadron II with my external hard drive, and after 30 minutes, sudenly i heard a buzz noise that lasted less than a second, with a tiny freeze... at first i didnt mind, but after some minutes the buzz returned, and it was more frequent, like 3 times a minute...

I disconnected the hard drive and i played the game via SD card... i played for 20 minutes without the issue.... so im not really sure if this was an issue with my external hard drive or with the copy of the game, or the nintendont build, etc...

My external drive is brand new, less than a week. 1TB, toshiba.

Any ideas?

I confirm this problem.
Frequently occurs in the mission selection screen or pause screen after a few moments.
Nintendont 2.292 - Full Iso - all options off (except mc)
Tested in 204 version and no problem
Maybe is it related to the 10 second drive poke code to stay awake?

Does that same issue happen to you with another game?
And about that 10 second drive poke, do you know when was implemented?

In Megaman X collection
Tested in megaman x4 (Web Spider Stage for example) and have a similar problem ( less noticeable and not "beep sound" )
In Nintendont Rev.215 is implemented this feature:
"when playing from usb, let the drive read a random sector every 10 seconds to
stay alive"

Ok, i can confirm that is the issue, because i count how many seconds between beeps and freezes, and its exactly 10 seconds. It only happens if theres nothing "new" to read, for example, in middle of a battle were nobody is speaking... as long as someone is speaking, or playing a video, etc, the issue doesnt happen.

I tried using a version before that 215, but it doesnt recognize my drive for some reason, so in the meantime i think i will need to play the game with a SD card... i just hope that this is not that common with other games... because this is the first game i try with nintendont and this happens.... :(
