I did find a potential work around though, if you open the Z menu and move up and down then go back to the game the audio is temporarily fixed again, you just have to do it every now and then, what's worse however is the proto version with the audio having serious issues, it works fine on DM and Dolphin.

Now I wouldn't be so pissed if Sonic Mega Collection didn't get a proper fix (at least the final build but I do hope for a proper fix for the proto) as for the Game Gear titles I mostly use them because of the multiplay support, only 3 Game Gear titles support multiplay and sadly aside from SEGA's official emulators I never seen any Game Gear emulator that supports multiplay, I maybe in the minority but I actually had fun playing Sonic Drift in 2P mode back in the days.

I dunno, I mean, I personally use the Genesis/Megadrive emulator on the Wii instead, which has better Yamaha YM2612 audio emulation anyways :P And emulates GG games too :D Not sure why the issue is there.

if anyone is up for it i could put sonic mega collections on the arstartdma issues for anyone to test since i bet tis that issue.

Test, like, is there anything in particular you want us to do while testing the ISO image?
I think he means that he will make a Nintendont build that adds SMC to that exception list and he will provide the link for users to test and see if that fixes the issue for most of them.
this preety much

Hmm, well, hope it doesn't break anything.
lol its a test dol if it doesnt work you can always just use the official and nothing is lost...

anyway anyone that has Sonic Mega Collection and experience the audio glitches pls try the following dols and tell me if anyone of those fixes those said issues two exceptions on arstartdma

Personally, I'd much rather use Genesis Plus GX, Genesis/Megadrive emulation is more accurate anyways XD
Yeah I'd do the same too.
Only games that are worth it are the ones in Sonic Gems Collection, only for Sonic CD, Fighters and R.
All the others are better of in GenPlusGX. Does Sonic 3 has that weird sound bug that eats up a ring chime in the Special Stage in Mega Collection?

I remember that happened with some of Sega's official emus, like the DS collection one.

I don't recall that audio glitch, and Genesis Plus GX runs Sonic CD flawless as well, Sonic R, never played that to be honest, same with Fighters, heh. Sega's emulator for Sonic Mega Collection is actually based off of Gens last I checked, for DS, also based of an open source emulator. Rarely, if ever, are Sega's emulators written from scratch, the ones on 3DS are programmed by M2, but I dunno, I mean, it seems like the issue is pretty serious and not worth the trouble for me, I just don't know, man....

it isnt any serious issue... acording to reports randomly some games start without sound or the sound starts getting behind the game that is it.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to those that came out with Fix 94. Now everyone of my GC games work flawlessly. You guys are awesome :P LOL – once you guys reach 100% compatibility please go and give the Devolution mods as much shit as you can!!

-Whats th option in usbloadergx "save changes"(no change, create and delete) in gx settings does?
-Why some games boot normally in nintendont, but if launched by usbloadergx give black screen (mario party 4 pal, for example). Even if I leave the settings default on both loaders, this game only works if launched from nintendont.

Again great work from the Nintendont Devs! We should gift a Wii U to FIX64 for all the effort that he put in this amazing project.

usbloader gx does force some settings by default that arent forced by nintendont incase you didnt know, i think video mode and language among other stuff.

Well it's true that Gensplus GX is far more superior, I use it more often than Sonic Mega Collection anyway, but I think it's still worth reporting, right now I'm hoping for a fix for Sonic Riders and maybe save feature for the Triforce games or at the very least some cheat codes to unlock all the tracks, maybe bios support for real MC?
