okay forgot to do that, but it still doesnt work. controller keeps blinking

You extracted the "controllers" folder to the root of the device your games are stored on?

Controller is connected to the Wii/Wii U with a mini usb cord? make sure this is done before you boot Nintendont

PS3 is unplugged?

HID devices turned on in the settings?

press ps button once your game boots?

Native Controls must be turned OFF in the settings

All this must be done or the controller wont work

No problem, it's not an emergency ! it could wait. I just wanted to be sure you don't miss my answer.

I just tested and it only locked up whenever I entered a yellow marker on the map. Green markers worked fine. The game freezes but the music continues to play

I've tried searching, but going through 1000 pages.... Anyone have any tips for a batch file sorter? I've looked at Wimm's stuff and a couple of the tools, but so far I haven't been able to figure out the easiest way to batch sort and rename all the files into something Nintendont like. Any program suggestions / scripts / tutorial links? Thanks!

the version you sent me via mediafire solve the problem :-)

good, that was easy enough to fix then. It really isnt a valid gc disc btw, its missing the typical identification id. Well I just made an exception for files created by that tool to ignore that fact.
So here is an official version then containing my fix:
-fixed up gc disc reading of multi-iso discs created with very old tools
-more security updates to try to fix return to loader freezing

this seems to be the same issue that happens on smugglers run where all the checkpoints work but if you try to get close to the midle checkpoint the game freezes with music playing, they probably share the same issue imo.

Hi everybody,

Thank a lot for this very great and very useful software.
I tried it and I would like to report a problem with the game SRS : street racing syndicate and maybe some other games...

The game not freeze but blocks when women ask to do a challenge in the street in street mode. We don't hear her voice and she continue moving like in an infinite loop after confirming accepting the challenge with A button. it doesn't happen with neogamma and wiigator MIOS v10. I tried both US and EUR version with unshrunk files. I have the same result with burned mini DVDR. unlike reporting in nintendont compatibilty thread, Autosave seems to work well in PAL version. for information, I used nintendont 2.265

Best regards

just out of curiosity try this dols and tell me if it still happens seems like an arstartdma issue but smugglers run is imune to all the arstartdma exceptions maybe that game isnt with some luck one of them might work or not.

Funny, it's the opposite for me, green blocks and yellow works !!! I tested both version given by pedro702 and they both solve the problem :-)
Thanks a lot

arstartdma freezes arent always on the same spots thats why they are very hard to fix becuase they happen due to timings and such we still have some games that are imune to every exception we have so until a new exception is made, several games are still unplayable im glad that this one worked on them atleast.

See how well posting in this thread works? We fixed a game all on our own!

A dev can add them to arstartdma list next time they make a commit;)

theres probably more games most users didnt tryed to much that can have arstartdma issues even tough they are green on compat.

So far from my testing the games that need a new arstartdma exception since they dont work on any yet are
Ghost Rekon 2
Rainbow six 3
Happy feet
Legends of wrestling
Smuggler's Run
Xmen legends 1 and 2

this games from my testing stuff fail with every exception we have and need a diferent/newer one.

I made a 229 mastermod which has both themes and DS3-Sixaxis support
It also has Nunchuck support using my Xmas config (readme included)
http://copy.com/vRN3HgFVyk9u7YuB/Public/nintendont229.rar
This is mainly for users with large HDD failing at init-DI
Most games should work here, good compromise until this issue gets fixed officially
Please test and check if it works as it should since I don't have a non-working drive to test myself
Abz

That did the trick.

I don't know if this has been requested but how about a way that that HID and Native Controls can't be both ON simultaneously and/or removing Native Controls option when on a Wii U? Or maybe combining those options to "Controller Style: HID/Bluetooth / Native GameCube / Emulated(Default)" or something to that effect as new people don't seem to understand what Native Controls really is and turn it on anyway when using an HID/Bluetooth controller even on a Wii U or Non GC Wii's. I've seen it asked too many times where the user has both Native Controls and HID both on and can't understand why their HID/Bluetooth Controller doesn't work.

On another newbie note: How about having Nintendont automatically copy the "controller.ini" or "Controllers" folder to USB or SD if the user chooses a device and the controller ini's don't exist there but they do on the device where Nintendont was launched from as users still keep putting them in the wrong device.

Also when the user asks about where to get "controller.zip" from, we should give both options of downloading directly from Nintendont and the web address where it's located as some users either don't have WiFi set up (to prevent people from updating the Wii/Wii U) or have issues (like me sometimes) with downloading files from Nintendont.

It just seems like too many new users are either confused and/or lazy about reading the first post.
