Hey Adeka,

I figured that's how it's supposed to work except the reason I asked is because it doesn't.

When I select a game in USB Loader GX (1233) it takes me to the nintendont main screen where I select SD or USB then I have to select the game to boot it.

Is there a specific setting I need to enable?

Thanks
You need to enable autoboot, if its disable you have to decide yourself whilst autoboot makes it go and load the game you selected.

Ah, thanks for that, I'll try it when I get home.

I thought autoboot was to go straight to the last selected game. I guess I misunderstood the concept of it.

Thanks.

Autoboot means you dont go and select what game you want to play, you pre-emptivly selected it from USB Loader GX so you wont need to pick it again inside.

Please make sure though that your memory card setting if your planning to do multiple emulation is below 16MB select the 251 block option as recommended by Nintendont.

Just got home from work, here are the results from my testing earlier:

Nintendont rev2.247
Regular Wii
EmuMEM = off (except for Triforce games)
Clean 1:1 rips (except for Triforce games)
Gamecube controller
Progressive = off
Cheats = off

-Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, first try game crashed at the webcam screen, second try it worked fine, played a complete race, didn't notice any noticeable lag though my eyes could be deceiving me, if that's the case then kudos for the performance since the game lags a lot in Quadforce, after the race the game asked to enter a coin and I don't know how, also I noticed the announcer was disabled, is that normal? Anyway good work so far, I hope more progress is done, honestly I don't care for Virtua Striker 2006 because I have Virtua Striker 2002 instead but that's only me.

-Sonic Riders still crashes after the third race, tried the PAL version and the game crashed at the first race in story mode for me, weird but I guess PAL version isn't any better, anyway I rather stick to my clean NTSC rip since I ripped it myself and I know it works fine, so far it's my only game to be set with Dios Mios.

-Tested Sonic Mega Collection since it's been reported broken, game worked fine for me, NTSC 1:1 rip, I didn't play long but testing several games all of them seemed to work fine, the proto however is still having audio issues though, game ID is [GSOE8P].

-Sonic Adventure DX Chao race still randomly crashes but at least now the race began instead of black screen from the start, which is a progress in a way, also the alpha version works fine, thanks.

-Frogger Ancient Shadow worked fine, thanks.

I also went ahead and tested some of the games that were fixed recently or known to have had issues before that I have, games like both Phantasy Star games, Kao The Kangaroo, Namco Museum, Batman Vengeance, Sonic Gems Collection, Midway Arcade Treasures 2,... etc, they all ran perfectly fine (except for Midway Arcade 2 the noise at the start is still there but it's a minor nitpick) I think we have a winner here, this is probably going to be my definite version of Nintendont (now if only I can make a custom background :p) thank you all for the great work.

Edit: added some additional info.

Hi guys, I have just received my wii u gamecube adapter, and I really want to thank you for allowing me to play games using the original gamecube controller.

Here is the situation: I boot a game, using nintendont app through homebrew channel, press "B" go to settings on nintendont and enable "HID". All goes fine.

But when booting another game the "HID" option on nitendont is turned off, altough I switched it to on previously.

@joostin / FIX94 I have tried to leave the "Hid" option on nintedont always on, but It always reset the setting to off. Is there a way to always leave that option turned on/ or Nintedont save that settings to "nincfg"?

Howard I would like to ask a feature on CFG usb loader. Could you please add the option to enable HID controls on nintedont?

So If I can enable it on CFG settings per game, I can save the option and it will automatically turn "HID" on.

Thank you all!!

I recently decided to try out Nintendont on my Wii, again. I read through a lot of the thousand pages of posts, but I couldn't find a solution. My copy of F-Zero GX isn't working. I copied over the ipl.bin file that some posts mentioned, but still no luck. I used the DMToolbox to trim the ISO and I'm running it from my SD card formatted to FAT32 64kb clustering. I'm using a Classic Controller. It works fine under DIOS MIOS Lite. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

You don't need the IPL.bin anymore. Just make sure you get the latest version and make sure you have a good rip.

Okay, thank you. I'll try ripping it again. Can't imagine why my rips would be bad unless my Wii is just having problems ripping it. It gets to the Nintendo/SEGA splash and the Wii completely shuts down when it transitions to the AV splash.
