Trying forcing video mode to your region a lot of games are black screening right now on auto video mode since 2.206

Im having an issue with nintendont. Using rev 209. Using wii and component cables
I was playing windwaker and gauntlet dark legacy. After playing windwaker for a while after a new area load screen. It crashes. It's weird :l
Gauntlet gave me an error after clearing a level. I get an error.

Are you using an emulated memory card? If so, what size?

Are you loading directly from the Nintendont loader or are you booting from a usb loader?

The funny thing is that some games I get a black screen unless I force the video opposite my console's region. Ex: Luigi's Mansion will black screen unless I force PAL 480p on my NTSC Wii U. Weird.

Are you using an emulated memory card? If so, what size?

Are you loading directly from the Nintendont loader or are you booting from a usb loader?

I forgot to add that additional info.
I'm loading from the nintendont loader. using my real memory cards and gamecube controllers.
I tried with dios mios and it doesn't do that but if i leave the game on for a while (15mins or so) without moving anything it does crash on dios mios.
I'm thinking it might be my hdd issuse. Im using a seagate goflex 500 GB HDD. I think it might be going to sleep or something. Im not really sure.

Sounds like it. Maybe you got a sleepy hdd. Try with a sd card

On the changes page versions are listed from r1 to r210. How can I tell which version is v2.166? I'm guessing that it's r166?

Sounds like it. Maybe you got a sleepy hdd. Try with a sd card

That's what im guessing too. Oh well I guess its time I upgrade. It does get power from the usb so maybe an external power source HDD would fix the issue. SD it's worth a try. Thanks for the reply!

you are correct. We can't call the revisions by r anymore because of the really old revisions

Thanks for clearing that up. Using v166 I also get a black screen. Maybe it's a problem with my ISO since according to the compatibility list it should be working.

ISO region U. European Wii U.

I re-ripped my ISO with Rawdump and just fired it up. It's working!

yeah videomodes are still abit clanky so if a green game on the compat list blackscreens for you on boot try to force some videomodes into them before giving up even if the forced videomodes dont make sence like forcing ntsc on an ntsc game when auto fails.

Anyone knows if the Nyko Pro commander can be used as bluetooth controller?

I have the latest version fully updated, when I load nintendont, I can use the nyko pro commander to move up and down in the "SD" "USB" Selection screen and even press "A" to reach the game list, however after this, I can't do anything, I press all buttons but only the home button on the nyko works to get me out of the screen, not even the wii remote works when this happens, If I load the game using the wii mote, and THEN turn on the nyko pro commander it goes as 1st player, but doesn't work.

I turned on "USB" and "HID" Device from the settings, and it crashed and sent me to wii u menu, I thought it would work with the wii u mapping, I don't put any .ini. I just let it choose. it works fine with ps3 controller. but I'd really like to use my nyko pro commander as a bluetooth controller.

Somebody knows why my USB Loader GX Rev.1231 (last one version) in mi WiiU give me an Error "This Nintendont version does not support games on USB"???
My Nintendont Ver. is 2.209
But if I run Nintendont from the Homebrew Channel I can run the games on my HDD without error or issues
Please help Me I want to run my GC games from USB Loader GX
