-added __CARDUnlock patch to fix original nintendo memory card support, thanks tueidj for pointing at it
-only set a progressive video mode on game boot if force progressive is enabled, should fix some PAL games to start normally on wiiu
-removed old include which doesnt exist anymore to fix compiling errors

Holly cow, first party memory cards actually work well now, no more formatting required, also I don't know what you did Fix94 but Sonic Mega Collection works fine now, both final and proto versions, the proto was broken a few revisions back (broken audio anyway) too bad Sonic Adventure alpha still black screens but at least the final version works fine (save for the Chao race) thanks again Fix94 for your amazing work, if I could donate money I'll donate to you!

yay thanks again

Did anyone get Phantasy Star Online Episode III to work btw? I get an error message at start up.

FIX94 do you know why Frogger Ancient Shadow still gives an error message at start up as well? I'm just curious to know not demanding or requesting anything, it's just interesting how this game (as far as I know) never worked before, thanks!

Is your PSO III iso trimmed?

FIX94

Thanks for the new version!

In Lord of the Rings: Third Age and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King the image is cut on the bottom of the screen. You know its like the picture is displayed in 4:3 on a 16:9 screen TV and some part of the 4:3 picture is cut on the bottom.
However I tested r203 again with vWii video mode set to 480i and the image is NOT cut. So somewhere in between 203 and 209 something went wrong. I have the feeling that it is not related to your latest changes, maybe it's related to the deflicker thing dunno. If you want, I can narrow it down, but not today, since I'm busy. I could do this tomorrow and let you know my findings.

Also FIFA Street and FIFA Street 2 still blackscreen on 209. They work on 203 with vWii set to 480i.

And on 209 with vWii set to 480i FIFA Street and FIFA Street 2 work, but have also a cut image.

you might want to delete your config then and make sure you have nintendonts video mode set to auto.

Now you guys got what you wanted. Now I have a request (I have donated and just want to know if this is possible)

the checking fs error....its very annoying. Howard was able to make the loader tell us when we have a controller issue. Is it possible the loader can tell us why we get checking fs?

The error is just so weird. It freezes on it about 1 of every 10 boots for me. A simple reboot of the Wii U fixes it. Not to mention it's the most posted problem here

Have you tried running the games from another drive?
Perhaps you USB/HDD/SD could be the issue, try with another one if you haven't already.

It is my hdd. It's not a big deal because I can just reboot the Wii U. Posted here quite a few times about my problem though and never got a reply (mostly when usb support was added)

boot messages for checking fs would be so handy.:yay:

Oh oh got it. :P
You mean that adding a message in Nintendont when the Checking FS problem persist so it tells you it is a drive problem, right?

Something else to add should be: if the wrong usb port is used, instead of getting stuck on "checking FS" just display a message telling to use the top port and returns to the homebrew channel.

This is what I meant. That is one of the causes of checking fs. Just need the loader to show us a message like that

My basic example:

kernel loading
freeze on checking fs
display error on this line
(reboot to hbc after 10 seconds if possible)

Edit: I should mention that it should say switch usb ports or wrong usb port for that specific checking fs error because the Wii U and Wii use different usb ports for the hdd.

Don't settle for 50hz crap. I am on PAL Wii (connected via official RGB cable to a CRT) and PAL Crash iso also gave me the cropped image issue so i was forcing 50hz.
I then downloaded NTSC Crash iso and forced PAL60 on it. That was it, now i get the full image and 60hz speed. Same trick also worked for Timesplitters 2 btw, so keep that in mind :)
