Hi guys I have an issue on nintendont on my wii u. So everything had been running great but then i recently downloaded the latest version of nintendont and i get stack dump errors on most of my games now. How can i fix this?
if you use nintendont directly from the homebrew channel im guessing you wont have stack dumps?

small thing I thought of today, might be cool:
-added an option to enable/disable video deflicker when using force video mode, basically disabling deflickering will make a sharper image but might not work properly on your tv and enabling deflickering will be a bit more blurry but should be smooth on all tvs

Yes! version 200
Was bothering me that it was 199 (damn ocd)
Thanks Fix94!

I've been loading the games through usbloader gx. Everything has been running great until the last two updates. I don't know if anyone else has had this issue.

I have a small problem that I'm not sure how to fix. I was playing Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on directly on Nintendont. Shortly after, I set up USB Loader GX to load Gamecube games using Nintendont, suddenly that particular game doesn't work. Black Screen, nothing more. I tried it again directly via nintendont and it won't work there either. It seemed to work fine before. Could it just be a faulty dump?

Delete nincfg.bin?

Some people repported to get stack dumps because of the name of the folder where the game is stored has some kind of letter that Nintendont doesn't like.
Try renaming the folder: eg.: from: PokÉmon [TITLE ID] - to: pokemon[TITLE ID], just give a try.

As a serious question, what does deleting it accomplish?

It's usually the file that causes the most problems, especially if you don't delete it after every version update.

Your config file probably got messed up from booting it through USB Loader GX.

Deleting nincfg.bin didn't solve the problem. I tried booting it in USB loader and it ran all of the patching information, started then black screen still. Did the same in nintendont via homebrew as well. It does only seem to be that one game, even though it did used to work.

I fixed my problem. I moved my games from GAMECUBE folder to games folder now every single game boots from usbloadergx. BTW have they fixed some of the compatibility on some of the games? Such as smugglers run?

Virtua Striker 2002 NTSC = image freezes but sound continues. (full iso)
Works fine with rev 179.
Are you sure? from my testing the game only freezes on the save screen if you start a new save or set memory card to off while not have a real memory card inserted, if you already had a save for the game (or use multi-memory) and start a new game it worked fine for me, can you test this please and let me know? I can provide my save if you need it for testing, also game must be uncompressed (1:1) for it to work, that issue happens also in Dolphin from what I understand!

Same thing happens to me, it goes past the save screen (already had a save), and around the sega logo it freezes the image but sound still goes on

Sounds like something in your settings is conflicting with the boot.

You could try toggling different settings for different results.

FIX94 did some testing, do you think you can look into these, please?

-Sonic Adventure (Chao Race) works flawlessly on r163 (right before the double input fix) played for an hour with no freezing.

-Virtua Striker crashes on the save screen in r198 but works great on r174 (thanks morgoth32 for the report) so I guess this issue broke in r175.

-Sonic Gems Collection (Sonic CD) crashes after you exit in r198, it works fine in r181 but it broke after.

Nemesis90 Umm... I know your icon is supposed to be an eye but my pervy mind makes me see another thing :p
