But, still, I don't want it to horribly break more games, that's the thing. Anyways, I'll stop worrying so much lol :P

I understand your feeling. Whatever, the only game the change would affect is Burnout 2. It will have its exception, so not other games would be broken. The worst case here is Burnout 2 crashing randomly, which I doubt it to happen. This game is already stable. A small variable change can't completely break a game if it is tested and known to work properly.

you remember the versions where all games randomly crashed after a few mintues? most of these revs were arstartdma changes, now burnout 2 is a especially stupid case cause so far it seems like I need to go extremly low to get past 2 minutes.

Damn, damn, double damn, I'm so sorry, man, to cause you extra stress by bringing it up :(

If its breaking any games then it's not worth it just to have BGM in one game

Yeah, I don't know how the hell Dios Mios does it with sound, which I know it has, but it's my own fault for reporting the damned game in the first place, now I feel bad.

I did too :shy:

I think I'd better refrain from reporting issues for a while, and since it's just one game, it's not worth it, at all. Yet, Dios Mios gets it, which is weird, but then again, many games are broken in that. *Sigh* Why do I even bother?

Yes, I want that game to have sound, but now? It's not worth reporting anything like it. I hope some punk doesn't try to make the game listed under "working" in the wiki again.

FIX94, I think that I'd best refrain from reporting other similar issues for a while, it's clearly not worth it for just one game. I've only served to add stress to your already high stress workload.....sorry.

just made a new update containing all kinds of stuff:
-greatly increased controller read updates for interrupt read based games, this should help people with slow controls
-changed up patching system a bit, made the debug prints more unified and added a safety check for EXIUnlock to make sure we write to the right function, this fixes music in both collectors edition menu and twilight princess
-added a small debugging option which makes it possible to compile nintendont with a very small amount of patches, note that this will only help developers to understand certain problems better

Thanks!!! Will test twilight princess tomorrow.

So I want to bring up 2 thing on the compatibility list. The fire emblem one being the important one.

Why is burnout 2 marked orange? The status is for stability. if the game is 99% stable when very minor crashing then it should be green. The sound/dsp column exists for games like burnout 2. Going to change this

Also Fire Emblem. Check the PAL notes that someone added. Anybody want to test that on the NTSC version and see if you get any crashing?

right now for burnout 2 this is the best result I have after 2 hours of variable modifcation:

Oh great! Thank you very much! I will test that in a hour and report what I get :)

Will it be green after the change FIX94 just posted to fix the audio though, that's the thing. And now, I feel absolutely horrible, like, to the point of wanting to sit in a fetal position kinda of horrible. Yeah. That. I've done nothing buy waste his time, I don't know how stable the game will be now that it has a workaround. Bollocks....

what I can already say for sure is that if you leave the menu just running it'll crash after 10-15 minutes.
