I confirmed the random pre/post-battle SoulCalibur II crashes (hard freeze) reported in this thread and updated Wiki entry to Issues. Weaponmaster mode becomes maddeningly frustrating when you can't save between dungeon battles and a crash has a roughly 10% of ending your run. The usual details: clean verified rip from my actual game disc, latest version (r163), auto-save enabled and disabled in-game, two different SD cards, 59 and 251 block single game memcards, etc. I can play this game on Devolution, but can't use my arcade stick. Going to have to shelve this game :/

I dont belive in that, I used my HDD in five year for Wii Games and Game Cube games with Dios Mios, that the frist time I got an error with him

Five years... Sorry to hear your HDD is dying.

I use Nintendont with my Intenso 3TB HDD and it works fine.. but my HDD gos in standby when it dont get used for ~5 minutes. This really can get a problem when you are too long in one area (like beating a boss for example) and the game will crash, because it takes too long for the HDD to spin up again. I wonder if there is a way to fix this problem. Not sure if it is possible to change the code so it gives the HDD more time to spin up again or so.

This is a pretty common problem with the storage controllers in enclosures in this age of energy efficiency. Most (all I've dealt with) lack an option to disable spindown after idling x minutes. I use older enclosures for my consoles so I don't have to put up with that "feature".

Which arcade stick do you have?

Well, I have an important issue
My HDD was corrupted after I tried to run Simpsons Hit and Run. The game were in my HDD and after I started the game, I got a green screen and my Wii was shutdown. After that, my HDD was corrupted with only a dummy file with the name of the game and a save folder with the save file
I'm not blaming the devs, It's just a warning for them and for who use this app
Never heard of such an error, can you check if you can duplicate the error? I ran this game for an hour with no issues here so... idk!

And now the game will never be fixed because you didn't update the last working revision column

omg he took that the wrong way:blink:

Including a last working revision just helps the devs add an exception/missing patch for that game in the code.

Let's talk 3rd party controller compatibility. So far, I've tried two 3rd party Wiimotes,(which didn't work) (three if you count Tron, but I think it may be a fancy official promo controller, as it does work) a generic CCP whose sticks don't work in Wiiflow, but work fine in Nintendont, and a Nyko Pro Commander U controller for Wii U. Are there any other 3rd party controllers working or nonworking, that we should know about?

Mayflash GC Controller Adapter for Wii/Wii U is a 3rd party adapter that plugs in the bottom of an (official) Wii remote that works:lol:

I already had cyan add it to the OP

How well did the Pro Commander respond?

This controller (adapter plugs in the bottom of the wii remote OR into a gamecube port)

If it worked with Nintendont then it would be amazing. Wireless with analog triggers on the Wii U is a dream come true

Too bad it's hard as hell to find so I cant even test it

Edit: LOL I just found this on ebay

Nice controller. I was more asking about controllers people have tried so we can add them to the list of working controllers.

Anybody got a WiiU Afterglow?

Didn't he already post info about this a while back? How was it not added to the Nintendont info then?
Because I didn't read the thread since then?
I'm not reading all forum threads every evening after work, I had a week of unread posts to catch up. Sorry to not have plenty of free time.

Hm.. not sure but maybe someone could integrate a feature that Nintendont reads a small little dummy file every 2 minutes or so.

its getting harder and harder to fix games, I just made a little progress which is better than nothing:
-moved most audio streaming and interrupt relevant info into unused hardware registers
-skipping SIGetType patch for sonic adventure dx to fix its double presses
-started adding more patterns and patches for games using the debug sdk, none of them work yet though, alot needs to be done still
I also was at a point where call of duty had buttons working, the problem there is that the patches I made to the game broke most other games so that needs alot of work if I dont want to break alot.

Frankly that's a really ugly fix and it's going to vary from one developer to the next if they're willing to add a "no sleep" option that works in that (or a similar) way. I really wouldn't count on it.

No offense, bud. Just it happened quite some time ago, and I've seen a few "in charge" people make plenty of posts since then. Deep breaths...

Just tried a couple games. Sonic can now jump in DX!
Starfox Adventures still has subtitle delay.

So I know some dude made a dev quit working on this program because he was bitching about controllers but...

The controller is fucked.. Super Mario Strikers has a super strike shot you take where you have to time this little gauge to make the shot and the controller barely registers and it's a half second late if it does.

This is using bluetooth and the mayflash adapter, not all games seem as bad but Strikers is one you can definitely tell the shit is fucked.

Don't quit cause of it now. Don't throw in the towel. There's still work to do, sorry, but it's real.

Oh I forgot to mention that there actually was a major improvement from 2.161 and 2.163 on this issue, the updated version also fixed the problem with Luigi's Mansion and the trigger being stuck in just barely. You can see a difference in Strikers between 2.161 and 2.163 also, but it's still lagged to hell.
