maybe stupid question:
is the WiiU Pro controller work on Wii? You can synch it on system menu even if the EEPROM size is different?
how do you force a resynch with WiiU pro? (you can't disconnect it from the internet wiimote and can't remove the batteries)

I updated the first post to add BT support, separated the controllers based on their connection type, added Memory card 16M issue.
I was thinking the same, if the Controller Pro works on regular Wii can we use it with games that support the classic controller? If so I'd buy one!

no, it's not not working in Wii mode.
Like Fix94 said, you can only register it in the 11 available BT slots. (10 controllers + 1 wiifit).
But you can't synch it.

So no support for nunchuk and wiimote yet?
Thx for this features to all the ppl working on this awesome job!! :D

Just created an (unofficial) Subreddit for Nintendont discussions, so the /r/wiihacks subreddit isn't so clogged up. It's over Here. Hope people approve of my efforts to help this project out abit

Hmm, i thought, why not read it, because i NEVER actually have been on REDDIT.
Hopefully it helps people on reddit.

That said, the footnote part about bricking was funny, because Nintendont itself is not capable of bricking a Wii or vWii, not even installing IOS58 wrong (wich is needed for nintendont to run). And the footnote part about the creator of nintendont is soo wrong i even not goin to make a comment about that.

Lol, I'm not a reddit user either (though i do sometimes read if i found something about a software / game i'm interested on) but your post made me check that one out and I lol'd when I read that the creator was Sabykos. I have not a single intention of offending James East, but it would be good if he checks the info before posting in the future.

As for the bricking issue, he's not saying that nintendont will / can / might brick a wii/wiiu; but rather that misinformation from one user to another might end up causing that, specially if someone tells you to install IOS58 on a WiiU (just giving an example).

Yo, I can't get bluetooth to work... I'm using the version that is linked on the first page, and when I boot it up, it's still looking for HID devices. What do I need to do exactly to get it up and running? Thanks in advance, I'm still kind of new to this hacking stuff...

EDIT: Okay, I had to turn off HID devices in the settings... now it's working great. I feel dumb. ):

Haha right, installing IOS58 on vWii is not a smart thing to do, but as far as i know it wont brick anything either, it just causes a fail to load nintendont probably.

Having tried Wii U Pro so far it's very nice and I can tell it wasn't easy to implement. But if I may make a request can we get something to remap the buttons? I'd like to play Viewtiful Joe with the standard GC layout (Where Y is B, B is A and all that). I hope I don't sound selfish for this and I know you guys just released this version. Thanks in advance and keep up the wonderful work! :)
I support the mapping change idea XD

can anyone clarify what exactly does widescreen hack do?

will it make games that are not normally widescreen display widescreen?

I usually turn it on all the time so I don't know if it actually affects any games I play. I know some games you can see the issues, like Super Mario Sunshine, Wave Race Blue Storm. Do these games not natively support widescreen?

Nice, thanks.

On another note, a really minor request/idea for Nintendont team, (feel free to ignore this if it is much hassle):
Would a nuchuck & wiimote combo be hard to implement on Nintendont? I know button mapping could be an issue, but for most racing games or simpler ones that need 3-6 buttons tops, it could work really great.
Example mapping:

  • Gamecube L = Nunchuck Z (left trigger/shoulder button)
  • Gamecube R = Wiimote B (right trigger/shoulder button)
  • Gamecube A = Wiimote A (big main button)
  • Gamecube B = Nunchuck C (secondary button)
  • Gamecube C-Stick = Wiimote d-pad
  • Gamecube analog stick = Nunchuck analog stick
  • secondary Gamecube buttons X & Y =Wiimote - and + buttons
  • secondary Gamecube button Z = Wiimote 1 button
  • Gamecube Start button = Wiimote 2 button

It's Crediar who made it, isn't it? My apologies for the crediting confusion, I was a bit busy creating that rather neat banner on the reddit page.

Hi everyone, amazing progress so far. I can't believe we have Bluetooth support already albeit with a few very minor kinks. Oh my God really were the first words that came out of my mouth lol. Wonderful job to all involved and especially fix94.

Amazing job team i wish there was an official donation link on the Nintendont SVN so everyone could be thanked for the work u guys have done. So the next best thing is to consider donating via the link in my sig. fix94 has worked so hard to bring this project to its current state, working extra late nights, pulling his hair out and not to mention how draining this all is to put things out at the pace he's been going and lord only knows why.

Thank you's are appreciated but nothing shows support like here's a few bucks for a six pack or whatever the helk u want. Believe me anything goes a long way. Hope to see even more improvements in the near future, Nintendont will become the best GC game loader ever, hopefully putting an end to Devo's monopolized reign lol. For now I hope u guys take a break so well deserved.

A weird issue with the Bluetooth support that might be worth reporting. I actually use one of those unofficial Remote Plus controllers from eBay (along with an official Classic Controller). It works perfectly fine, except for having to press buttons on the remote every time I enter a game or application to power the remote up again. This is not an issue 99% of the time, but it has a weird side effect with Nintendont where the game no longer recognises the controller.

The obvious solution is to use an official controller, but if a solution could be found for people using the *much* cheaper unofficial controllers with the aforementioned bug, it would be appreciated!

Great job with the Bluetooth support, by the way. It's a massive leap forwards in terms of general system integration.
