if the game doesn't appear to be in widescreen format but does work, is that still a yes for compatibility? I mean it WORKS when the option is set, just a matter of it appears in widescreen.
it's whether the game can be displayed in 16:9 or not.
if it works in 16:9, green
it if works, but has odd things on screen (like paper mario), orange
if it's not doing anything, or the game doesn't work at all, red.

Orange or red: specify in the comment column why it's not working and what it does.

Yeah but how can i tell the difference? I guess I'll have to boot in both modes to see?

For example, when using Widescreen with Super Mario Sunshine, its VERY noticeable that its in 16:9 as well as Paper Mario.

Other games I'm not as familiar with seem like they fill up the whole screen but I can't really tell.

gamecube games that do not naturally support 16:9 will have black bars on the side of the screen.

Forcing widescreen will stretch the game to fit the full screen but some games will be heavily effected by it (go try the mario party demo on the double dash bonus disc)

Would it be possible to add an option to force 4:3 pillarboxing? Many people (like myself) have TVs that cannot force aspect ratio. As a result, the 1080p output from the WiiU is fixed at 16:9 (the GC games thus being stretched) with no way to adjust this. Pillarboxing would be a great help.

Using "1" for max pads still enables the four ports(the game still detects four ports used), as minor as it sounds could this get looked into? It's annoying in some games, also, I cannot confirm if this happens when using hid controllers.

Who is having problems with True Crime NYC? I went and tested this game thoroughly and it worked PERFECT

Hi, I have been wanting to play the N64 Zelda's and was wondering which version I should get. I heard the collector's edition is good (rumble, true 480p, 60fps) but the Majora's Mask port has issues. The Collector's edition is a bit expensive so I don't want to have to buy the vc version of Majora's Mask as well. Does anyone know if the issues with Majora's mask are fixed with nintendont/dios mios? Any help would be appreciated.

They should be working but the timer fix has not been implemented (timers go twice as fast)

Ok cool, so are they any better than playing off disc (I mean framerate + sound bug, not controller options) or are they the same other than the timer?

If your worried about all that stuff then you should probably just install the wads for those games so they play perfectly. The wads will play the zelda games much better then Nintendont/Devolution can.

I've not noticed any framerate issues in Majora's Mask, but yeah, the timers go too fast. If you're not concerned with minigames though, it's not a huge issue. Pause buffering is almost impossible though since there's basically no unpause lag.

Just keep in mind OoT and Master Quest have awful static in their sound right now in Nintendont, for unknown reasons. Majora's Mask isn't affected by it.
