Well, I have a question about OSreport or these things, I know, these are to know how the game works and why it has (for example) a random crash issue, if a game has texture bugs, OSReport could help to fix them? I've found a little ( very low noticeable) texture bug in Super Mario Sunshine, I know this doesn't matter because it is low issue, but some games (Like True Crime New York City) had big textures problems (or currently have, I didn't test it) but playeable.

I seriously HATE Playstation controllers...
Worse design I have stumbled upon, and this comes from someone that has played from Atari 2600 onwards.

I am struggling BIG TIME to play some platform games on the NGC because of the weird and odd analog stick response of the controller.ini
The thing is that the analog stick just gets 8-directions, and I know that the sticks are analog because the values change every time I rotate them in the HID test.

Can someone help me out to verify why is this happening?
Mario Sunshine is giving me a pain in the ass because of this 8-directional movement.

Also, I think this is happening for BOTH analog sticks, not just the left one.

Here is my controller.ini:
Code:
[Generic USB Gamepad]
VID=0079
PID=0006
Polltype=1
DPAD=1
DigitalLR=1
A=5,40
B=5,80
X=5,20
Y=5,10
Z=6,02
L=6,04
R=6,08
S=6,20
Power=6,10
Left=5,06
Down=5,04
Right=5,02
Up=5,00
RightUp=5,01
DownRight=5,03
DownLeft=5,05
UpLeft=5,07
StickX=0,0,100
StickY=1,0,100
CStickX=3,0,100
CStickY=4,0,100
RAnalog=0
LAnalog=0
I have posted a few times about this. It's just how the HID controllers are. Some people don't even have this problem which is very strange.

If you play on a normal Wii with gamecube ports then it feels normal.

if you think sunshine is bad then check Digimon World 4. Definitely the worst case I have seen of it.

Just be lucky we can even use HID controllers on Non BC Wiis.

Guys, on Wii can I use both USB ports? I mean, some time ago when I had some problems with my generic gamepad, someone says that I could use the gamepad in one port and the HDD in second one. How's that? Do I need to configure something if possible?

drive in bottom usb port, controller in top port (opposite on Wii U)

make sure to enable hid controllers in settings

Hmmm, I see, well, what if we use both ports using HDD on first, Flashdrive on second? I tried like that and Nintendont show me the flashdrive's iso list, but don't let me play it showing me an FS Error 12.

Somebody knows how to configure Nintendont in Wiiflow to boot via USB?

If the games are in the usb device wiiflow should find them there, so just load the game.

edit: i don't think you can use the HDD in another port. Just the bottom one.

I think only the bottom port is mounted

Guys can someone please give me a detailed description on how to use the dualshock 4 (ps4) controller on Nintendont! I keep getting init hid devices failed, but I don't know how to fix it... Help, please!

I'm looking for an adaptor to use GameCube controllers over USB so I can closely recreate the genuine GameCube experience.

The easiest adaptor to obtain is the Trio Linker II Plus, but I've no idea if this works with the Trio Linker v1 controller.ini file, or if the adaptor is compatible at all. Also no word if it works with a Wavebird.

The alternative is the Raphnet adaptor. http://raphnet.com/products/gamecube_to_usb/index.php

Does anybody have experience with either? I'll be using a Wavebird.

grab the dualshot4 controller ini rename it to "controller" and connect the cable to the correct usb door(wii is upper back and wiiu is lower back) and never press anything on the controller untuil the game starts then you can press the ps button

Somebody knows how to configure Nintendont in Wiiflow to boot via USB?

1. Go to the Homebrew Channel and load up Nintendon't
2. Press "B" to enter the settings
3. Enable Autoboot
4. Exit Nintendon't
5. Head into WiiFlow
6. You might want to go into the settings here and make Nintendon't the default loader for GC Games if you haven't done so already.
7. Start the GC Game of your choice. Nintendon't will then autoboot the game you selected.

Anyways with any donation I would get I wouldnt buy anything to be honest cause I'm quite deep in a minus moneywise irl.

Man I totally forgot u had one XD
Well in that case more donations for u then lol.
Just wanna say one thing here, eventhough you don't get much donations FIX, i think everyone that uses the homebrew you helped coding is very gratefull..
