1.75 seems to be more stable than the last few builds; FSA is fixed, and there seem to be less hangs (at least for me), but Twin Snakes joins the regression group. It now hangs at the red Konami logo. The USB Gecko doesn't output any useful info, so it doesn't seem to be a crash. Metroid Prime 1 and 2 also no longer boot. "added more patch exceptions to fix Dragon Drive" (so what would be 1.73) broke both Metroid games. 1.72 by Crediar works fine.

I managed to get a crash dump out of Metroid Prime 1, but I can't seem to get one out of Metroid Prime 2.

Panic: abort in thread 0xfffe0420 @ PC 20109850
DFSR: 5 [translation (section)]
IFSR: 0 []
FAR: 15d27d48

75 does have alot of broken stuff, alot of games that booted and frreezed before now reboot the wiiu, 75 also destroyed the hid controller for mario GP1 only the A works not to mention the patch exceptions seem to have been moved somewhere so they arent working anymore.

Well, stability can be a bit subjective. It fixed a few of the games I have, but broke a few others. I only have about 15 games on my hard drive, so yeah. :)

Hey guys, I have the ps3 ini on the card and its plugged in. but it still won't work.

Is there anything I have to do besides plugging the cable in and pressing the PS Button?

Black Australian Wii, latest nintendon't, playing Wind Waker.

Did you rename it as controller.ini and is it in the root of the device where you have the games? Have you tried using HIDTestv6 to see if it's recognized?

is anyone on 75 getting a bunch of files that make no sence on the hdd/SD? so my hdd was corrupted when i choosed a game that rebooted the wiiu and when it was turned back on my hdd became corrupt i formated it all and now after another crash on 75 some files appeared on my hdd on the root again being unrecognizable like NÇ,Utmd and GINE69 so i was wondering if it was just me anyone that got a crash on 75 can see any of this invalid files on the root of the hdd/SD?

Unreadable letters on your drive? Corrupted.

well i just formated my hdd and the files appeared again after i tryed a game that rebooted the wiiu again

I was about to test r75; guess I'll wait until someone else's confirms if there is HDD corruption due to it. Which game was it?

I'm glad I havn't tested r75 then...I have over 1T in Wii and GameCube games on my drive.
i have all the isos on my pc the worst part was loosing the saves i was having so much fun with metroid prime but now i dont fell like having to do everything again from scratch until the spider ball update :S

i just wanted anyone that tested 75 and got a crash that reboots the console to see if this files are appearing again since they did appear twice for me after a full format.

batman begins

I've not personally seen any file corruption with 1.75, but YMMV. Perhaps wait for more opinions.

Not one that requires pulling the power plug, no. I've never had a crash like that on my Wii before. I have had to hold the power button in for about 10 seconds when some games crash, though.

well the reset button on the wiiu doesnt work so you got to pull the plug on every freeze

I have requested that to be fixed but the devs don't seem interesting in making the power button do anything on Wii U.

There might not be anything to do at all, remember this post by Maxternal?

the problem is if not even the reset button on the controls work, it might mean that the nintendont kernel itself has crashed so there'd be nothing to watch the power button and reset the console since it's the same thing that's already watching the control power button.

If the kernel crashes, then there's not really much that could be done..
