At a slight risk of being offtopic: I fixed a crash in postLoader when booting Nintendont games off SD, so you might want to update (see the postLoader4 thread).

On topic: Has anyone else experienced the weird time and date issues I posted about a few pages back, where the save dates in games like Zelda seem to be about 6 months too far in the future? My Wii's clock and calendar are set properly.

Edit: While I was at it, I grabbed a USB Gecko log of PSO Episode 1 & 2 before it shuts down when booting it: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/...c2217086fd6764b8493cd24d1fc6dca/gistfile1.txt
Here's one for PSO Episode 3: CARD Battle:

I posted about the zelda's date issue a while back, before you did, that's why I didn't bring it up again. I had transferred a save I had from 2011, and it appeared as if it was from 2007; then, after I saved, the year was 2014 but the date was 24/12 and even the hour was wrong.

I suppose nintendont doesn't read the date from the console; but I can't even imagine where it gets it from.

If I see this right, it uses a hard-coded SRAM struct (meaning it doesn't pull the time from the Wii (U)), so yeah, it will never have the correct time/offset bias until it's implemented.

tom and jerry: war of the whiskers seems to work very well in v55
it plays same song note over and over, although that can be fix by turning it down in game settings

I'm unable to compile Nintendont. I get various errors like:

Code:
cp: cannot create regular file `../loader/data/kernel_usb.bin': No such file or
directory
make: *** [kernel.elf] Error 1

Do I need a specific version of devKitPro or something? Or is build.bat broken?

Edit: Nevermind. The data folder under "loader" was missing. Not sure why, but at any rate, it seems to compile fine.

This already exists. We just need someone to buy it and try it. From what I have read, it is a plug and play using direct input. Most likely compatible with Nintendont. I wish I had some money right now!!!

Yes you can. You can edit the save file by downloading Dolphin and using the Mem Card manager to change the save file.

ok i cant stop getting weird problems, now i got this, nintendont says that i missed the controller.ini in my usb but i get it and it was completelly configured
[Controller JoyPad]
VID=0079
PID=0006
Polltype=1
DPAD=1
A=5,40
B=5,20
X=5,80
Y=5,10
Z=6,02
L=6,04
R=6,08
Power=7,10
S=6,20
Left=5,06
Down=5,04
Right=5,02
Up=5,00
RightUp=5,01
DownRight=5,03
DownLeft=5,05
UpLeft=5,07
StickX=0
StickY=1
CStickX=3
CStickY=4
LAnalog=12
RAnalog=13
so i checked my controller.ini and it messed up like this
ëXMSWIN4.1   ø ? ÿ ? nwÓJi    € )+
NO NAME FAT32
so idont know what should i do, my usb was exfat and i used a program to format it to fat32 because windows only gave me the option for ntfs and exfat.

Are you sure your controller has analog shoulders (L/R)? for the most part that controller.ini seems identical to the one I've seen used by many different PC gamepads with digital shoulders; so you might need to add a DigitalLR=1 to the ini, and change these two values to 0.

Your ini seems to have been corrupted at some point. You should copy it again from the computer and maybe check it with WiiXplorer before and after you've run nintendont to see if the app is corrupting it. This is the first I've heard from such a thing happening though.

and still getting corrupted after loading, so i dont know what the hell and indeed my controller is for pc but ichecked it in hidtest and i was ok so i dont know what should i do now, my main problem is that my pendrive is used to be exfat or ntfs but never fat32, i now i refformated it with HP and i got Fs checkin error -12

Are you using WordPad in windows as Oak pointed out that might be the cause of the weird text? If you put the controller.ini in your sd and load HIDTest does it get recognized? It should show the assigned values as A=0,B=0, etc. instead of only the paired raw values.

Gamecube Controller > connect to Mayflash GC to Wiimote (Wii U or Wii family) > then connect to Mayflash Wii U CC to Mayflash CC adapter to work as HID controller, maybe could it work

I have posted that before but there's no reason now since Howard fixed the Mayflash 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box.

actually there is one reason to post it .... i just saw it and tought

humm , i have both those adapters and real GC controllers ... funny i never thought of it , but that sounds like a good test for me to try tomorrow.
since the Mayflash GC to Wiimote just sits here as a waste of $ .... could finally be useful if this setup works on my WiiU....hummm

on another note , anyone else played with the dance pad on a wii in the gamecube controller port with dance-mario mix ... its not bad , runs well in game for me. ...but with difficulty trying to run nintendont setting with it

I'm watching the project for a while and I'm very happy with all the improvements made. Congrats guys!! :yay:

About the multiplayer, I know that it is not possible in vWii until now because of the HID, but will it be possible when Nintendont supports wireless controllers? I mean, at least there is no physical limitation to support multiple controllers.

I installed IOS58-64-v6176.wad using Wiimod Lite and afterwards it wouldnt exit loader properly and had to coldboot. Wont go into homebrew channel or other programs now. How fucked am i? :)
