will i shrink both of them from GCMUtility 0.5
i play games off 8gb flash drive as well. called sandisk

mmm i have a wii (with gc ports), my hd is pretty old (250gb sector 512 according to nintendont splash cui)
and i haven't any slow loading, games start immediatly and load more faster then diosmios. I haven't understand how to make the cache.txt, some games tree have a subfolder, but when i look into cache.txt file i not see any subfolder...

To create a cache.txt you should only list the filename and ignore the subfolders. My guess is that nintendont searches the entire filesystem to find the files so the folders aren't needed, that's why I skip files that share the same name, just in case nintendont might either cache only the first occurrence of that name, or cache all of them. if would be great if someone could clarify that

just a update i switch out another usb drive put all my nintendont stuff to it and it work much better then sandisk did.

I use a Mayflash cc to gamecube controller adapter. Use the real controller then a replica.
Gamecube Controller > connect to Mayflash GC to Wiimote (Wii U or Wii family) > then connect to Mayflash Wii U CC to Mayflash CC adapter to work as HID controller, maybe could it work as the MagicJoyBox, maybe not.. obviously the second one is better! :)

but i'll not buy the Mayflash CC it because it's a waste of money.

I have posted that before but there's no reason now since Howard fixed the Mayflash 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box.

Well, glad to know they work reasonable well, even the triggers register for games like Super Mario Sunshine when you use FLUDD?

Not supported by Nintendont yet. Just posting that you can use the adapter for Nintendont (and new smash bros) once bluetooth is added.

Sorry if I'm being too off-topic,

but a lot of people submitted controllers to work on Nintendont here.. ..so for those that would also want to use this usb controllers with Shovel Knight for Steam (and if you have them with you), you can submit them following this topic

just a tip for those that are interested in the game..

More on topic:

Could the new Widescreen hack used in Dolphin, discussed about here, be ported somehow to Nintendont?
I know that FIX94 worked on a fix for it, so maybe he knows how relevant this hack is, and if it's possible to implement here? ..(asking since I think that's not how Nintendont handle widescreen..)

this new GameCube controller prototype could work on Nintendont. now with analog triggers (unlike Wii U Pro Controller lacking)

This already exists. We just need someone to buy it and try it. From what I have read, it is a plug and play using direct input. Most likely compatible with Nintendont. I wish I had some money right now!!!

Questions is, where can you get them, I didn't think they were out already.

try searching retrolink gamecube with google.. :P

Edit: when i did a search i could see right away ebay and amazon had them in stock...

Wait, then didn't I see in the article that Nintendo was collaborating with PDP to make one to be released later this year? I think I missed something here, unless it's completely unrelated.

Edit: Yep, $20 on Amazon.

Yep correct, 2 different subjects, the PDP article was about a GC controller you could attach to the back of a wiimote

No wonder I was confused, pretty sure the USB version will have real triggers and have them respond so using FLUDD is feasible in Super Mario Sunshine, among other things. :P

At a slight risk of being offtopic: I fixed a crash in postLoader when booting Nintendont games off SD, so you might want to update (see the postLoader4 thread).

On topic: Has anyone else experienced the weird time and date issues I posted about a few pages back, where the save dates in games like Zelda seem to be about 6 months too far in the future? My Wii's clock and calendar are set properly.

Edit: While I was at it, I grabbed a USB Gecko log of PSO Episode 1 & 2 before it shuts down when booting it: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/...c2217086fd6764b8493cd24d1fc6dca/gistfile1.txt
Here's one for PSO Episode 3: CARD Battle: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/...6ca7eb60b95598490fc161e33589230/gistfile1.txt
