I just tested Mario Kart Double Dash again. It seems that after mashing my controller for like a minute, it finally got past the first screen. In the time trial, it behaved properly, except afterwards when my PS3 controller didn't stop vibrating until i plugged it into my ps3. :o

I understand why the games lag a bit because of potential slow transfer speeds of the usb ports and/or drives. But sound issues on all of my games seem to have been eliminated. I haven't had time to look at the NintendontUSB code, so the following question may be a dumb one: Why can't we, or the coders, make NintendontUSB work on SD? Maybe change path of where N'tUSB looks. For instance, I'm guessing the dol is coded to look for usb:/games/[name]/game.iso .. How easily can that path be changed? To say the old sd:/[path]? Something that'll allow faster reads.

Is this even feasible?

I use a PS2 controller (with an USB adapter) to test this game and works no problem.

i was told by a great mind that:
since the nintendont kernel is almost the only thing running in ios regions there is plenty room for a sd module
i was assuming that usb code was switched out for sd and there is room for both ... but we will have to see

I just checked the Mario Parties, Paper Mario TTYD, Kirby Air Ride, Wind Waker, Double Dash, and Luigi's Mansion and all of them have 99% working audio and don't have any controller issues (but luigi's mansion has a bit of lag when loading a different area)

Can you tell me what kind of USB you're using, and which revision of Nintendon'tUSB?

Has anyone test Star Fox Adventures or any other game that uses audio streaming?

Star Fox works almost perfectly, but the sound quality is kinda bad, but ok. Also MCEmu is not supported.

Not to be confused by Star Fox Assault, Adventures was made by rare and only Devolution supported streaming audio, the one with Dinosaur Planet? It has sound?

star fox adventures uses audio streaming i'm assuming?

Yep, along with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4. SFA is marked as not working. 1080 Avalanche uses it too I believe. I don't know if Nintendont will support audio streaming since it's so bloody hard to implement, so far, only Devolution implemented it.

Yeah, it works great.

EDIT: Oh, you meant Adventures. . I don't know about Adventures. .

i'm using a 2tb seagate external harddrive and whatever revision OJ uploaded earlier today

Hmm. Maybe it depends on how big the USB hard drive is?

melee barely works. Has about a 95% chance to freeze when you make a match. Compatibility has gotten worse to. Sound was fixed at least

Yeah, for me, it mostly freezes after I choose one of the progressive scan options.

Here's what I found out: I tested games with a 4GB USB, and was getting crappy results. (VERY slow loading times, sound repeating after 2-3 seconds, etc)
Then I tested my 32GB USB to find that the sound doesn't repeat itself, (Sometimes it freezes) the loading times are way faster, and the controller delays aren't as bad. I think it's based on how big your USB hard drive is. The bigger, the better.
