Good to know. Thanks @godreborn. I'll definitely stick to windows=1 when trying to compile.

BTW, if you're currently able to successfully compile nintendont, would you be willing to compile my fork and send me the dol file while I'm still trying to figure out how the heck to get this to build on my machine? That would be a huge help!

Hello All, I've been using Nintendont on my WiiU for a week now, and its an amazing app! However, I have encountered some challenges.

Basically, Star Wars Rebel Strike (injected with TeconMoon on Tiramisu setup) started today to hang randomly (It has been working 100% since installation for last week). Within last 1 hour it happened like 5 times.

It hanged once on launch (the only way to restart was to take the power plug off) and several times in the game itself (in those cases I was able to hard reset the console). The majority of cases are during the transitions in between screens.

I don't know how to investigate it. Shall I enable Logs in Nintendont? Maybe its a SD card issue? Any tips? Thank you for your help!

Thank you for the answer!

Will take a picture tomorrow, but: video mode=auto, cheat=on (I have one cheat in gct file, which worked ok), memcard emulation=on (251 blocks); rest off/default. The game was working 100% for last week, so it is very strange:( The md5 a7e88ee9209080785c4923b571cc1936 (it is an ntsc version).

I will clean the SD slot (putting a bit of isopropyl on the sd adapter contacts) and check another adapter tomorrow; maybe its SD card related. The SD card used is new Samsung Endurance 64Gb.

did you tyred without the cheat on? also many settings can affect a game, most people dont even know that can cause issues depending on the game.

I am going to check it in the evening after work and report back. I will not change to another SD adapter yet, to do one change at a time ;-)

I still did not manage to test without the cheat (crazy days before holidays), but can anybody share md5 of the iso which works 100% throughout the whole game?

why are you forcing progressive scan? this game has natice progressive scan so you are forcing an hack that can cause issues, that and the cheat as well.

I was not aware I was forcing it :( I didn't notice there are 2 options progressive scan and force _prog. Do you know what is the difference?

I have updated my config to, what I think, is the most compatible one :) and have also cleaned SD card/adapter. I have been playing 1h and all works good. I will be testing this weekend more and will let you know. Thank you very much for help! :)

yeah that is the most compatible out of all settings, forcing anything can break the games., if a game has native progressive scan it will ask you either way without being forced or set.

Progressive Patch is meant for PAL60 mainly. It turns 480i into 480p - Force Progressive makes the game output 480p no matter what. Usually, progressive patch will suffice for PAL games - Nintendo's lot check didn't like them supporting progressive scan natively. (Nintendont doesn't work with 576p right now, use Swiss for that)

nintendont is not a wiiu app it will never appear on wiiu homebrew...

it needs to be locatede in sd:apps not sd/wiiu/apps
to start nintendont from wiiu menu you need to make an inject channel or go through vwii.

i see, so does that mean i have to go through the process of installing homebrew for the vWii in addition to the tiramisu i already have? i made a new folder in my sd card and put nintendont in it, so now its located in sd:apps, but now when i try to start melee it says nincfg.bin not found. not quite sure what this is or how to get it, so any help on that would be great. sorry if these are dumb questions haha, im super new to this!

nvm, managed to figure it out!! i found a zip of nincfg.bin somewhere in this thread and just dropped that into the root of the sd and tried again, and it worked!

Does anyone know if there's a forwarder for Nintendont that has networking enabled? I wanted to do LAN with my Wii and using the gamepad for the Wii U. I remember a while ago the forwarder would let you use the gamepad controls but networking wouldn't work. If I launch into the homebrew channel regularly then LAN works fine but obviously I can't use the gamepad then.
