Do you have Widescreen on? I remember people reported many times that this game doesn't support widescreen but I can't confirm.

btw I can't test but I been reading a lot of reports about Luigi's Mansion being broken, is this true? I have the NTSC version btw.

Yes i have it on force Widescreen and force progressive scan

then try without then forced its a no brainer to always try without extra stuff on before giving up and asking for help here.

ok then make sure to download the controller.ini file. You can do it from the Update command inside Nintendont. If that doesnt work, take a picture of your settings so we can see if there is anything wrong

I apologize. I just read on the front page about .ini files. Though i renamed it to controller i still couldn't get it to work.

This are the settings i tried it with http://i.imgur.com/o6A7kB5.jpg?1

Are you using a Wii or Wii u? Edit: Nvm the picture says you are using a Wii U lol. Your problem is that you are using the Wii U's back ports. Those dont work when loading from SD. You need to use the Front USB ports

Front ports for the Wii U? Does it matter in what order then for the left and right ports for the black and gray usb cables?

Got any advice on the settings that I have on? http://i.imgur.com/o6A7kB5.jpg?1
Anything different from what you're using?

I have force progressive, memcard multi, and native control off. I also have the memcard blocks at 251.

Edit: Yeah, the native control is probably what's making it not work, I think that's only for a regular Wii.

Can we get a warning message below native controls when toggled on?

Warning: Will disable HID and bluetooth controllers

Edit: also is it possible to make native controls always be off on Wii U? Similar to how having HID controllers on or off in the settings treated it always on in the past when playing on a Wii U.

I'm trying to sift through all this information. I want to get clarification on a few things. Using SD only activates the front ports?(According to that guy above the back ports work too)
Also USB Loading did work for me, but then I got the controller error message to plug into the rear port. Also what is the difference between the black and gray USB cords? Is one data and the other power?

I was mistaken, the back ports work too ( for some reason i thought they didnt) Also thats exactly whats broken about USB loading with HID. you either get a blackscreen or you get the controller error message

Edit: the black one is data, the gray one is Rumble (power)
