Adeka a lot of people can only have a Family Edition Wii, so i like to think nintendont is aimed for those too as well

GBA rocks is good to hear you live in a place where original wii's are more common, in my country the console market is slow and expensive. By the time we got the Wii, not many people would buy it because of the price. And by the time it was cheaper, most were the new model. And the used ones are sold at high prices as if they were brand new..

anyways, my point is that there are people that can't 'choose' as much as others, and for them nintendon't is a really great project

I see. Makes sense, if one doesn't wanna spend the extra money for the BC wii equipment.

A Wii U can do nearly everything a Wii can do except play gamecube games in gamecube mode

it's just more risky because you cannot restore the nand.

Why have extra consoles plugged up if my Wii U can play gamecube games via HDD? That's me at least.

Or have both a Wii U & a Wii under the living room telly.... my missus is only just managing not to kick off with a PS3, 4, 360 & Wii U under mine - telling her I'm putting an old Wii back under there too might just send her over the edge....
Also: Audio Streaming
Also: Nintendo Puzzle Collection (specifically Panel De Pon) plays like shite with a GC controller - bliss with a PS3 pad though!
;)

EDIT: Ninja'd with the multi console....

Init SD Device failed r79 on Wii U. Where can i find rev 55 to 79 so i can test on which rev it stopped working ? Two people reporting the same problem and i'm ready to test

Thanks for looking into this. I got to r66 last night before getting frustrated.

HOW HOW HOW? The game freezes while creating a save. If it does create the save then it freezes picking mode.

It not frezzing, did you hear a bad sound when you save, that sound looks like it freezzing but ir don't frezze, it means that is saving the game, trust me, the firts time take a little time, but it saves.

PD:I get my USB work with r79 and I can play Soul Calibur 2, the problem is that now I want to play it but Nintendon't loader freeze on "Init DI..."

When it's stuck on the saving screen for more the a minute then I assume its frozen

Strange, for me took some 15 seconds to save the game, the first time I think it was frozen, but later the game runs good, wait... are you playing on Wii U or a Wii? all of this was working a Wii U.

Wii U

The game plays fine if I don't create a save.

My bet is that it might have something to do with the ISO that Adeka is using.
What region and what version are you using, Adeka and GokuJunior?

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
