I'm confused. Do you have a family edition Wii?

Joostin, was the patch applied on the source for r50 or maybe a previous version? At first the error showed up in wiiU as well, then Howard added a conditional that would avoid showing up the error in the WiiU in r50

It was a test so we'd know that the crash happened on consoles that had Hollywood 0x21

anyways, i just saw the changes you made, you deleted the conditional and left the error message.. You should delete the whole If, messages included

Oh, I thought that was a test of something based on the comment. I'll re-add it.

Actually I think all this should be removed since newer revision Wii's work now.
Code:
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*7, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*8, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*9, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*10, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*11, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*12, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*13, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*14, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*15, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*16, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");
PrintFormat(MENU_POS_X, MENU_POS_Y + 20*17, "KERNEL FAILED TO LOAD! Shutting down\n");

JoostinOnline, we don't need all that output anymore since the fix provided by OverjoY works already. What this does now is spam the output on Wii's with Hollywood revision 0x21 and makes it unreadable. Just remove the entire thing.

Ah, he kept the conditional? I thought he read my previous post before compiling the last revision, i agree that there's no need to keep the "if ... == -1". But it's not a big deal, as long as it works

Select button no longer reboots the system still. Only other way to turn the system off is by unplugging the power.

Also Tales of Symphonia has lost compatibility. Controller no longer responds at title screen.
