if you are on wiiu you need an y sable.
i have 3.5 inch HDD with power supply.
ill try this tomorrow
Some HDD’s don’t work with the cIOS 249(Base56), so change to 250(Base57) or 251(Base58)

I don't have that issue. I get notified for the merged post and posts after if I read the merged post.Exactly the first one.
I get notified for the first post.
Then I go back to the main page, but when the user posts another comment and the post is merged, I don't get notified about that one.
(Just like Pedro said too)
Thanks for the link, I'll be sure to post the problem there, and sorry for derailing the post for a bit.
Are you using a Wii or Wii U?i formatted HDD to fat 32 32kb and it still freezes...wii games too.
Well, of course it does that.I don't have that issue. I get notified for the merged post and posts after if I read the merged post
I always get notified when a post is merged. I get an email saying a new post was made even it was a merged post.Well, of course it does that.
The page updates what posts you have seen and which ones you have once you have actually SEEN them.
But how will you know if there are any new updates if you are not being notified of new posts due to the merged posts problem?
Once you see the merged posts, you get notified again, but that still doesn't solve the issue of the merged posts not being notified, same for any subsequent post that is made.
Anyway, if anyone wants to continue commenting on this problem, please follow the link Cyan posted a few posts back and post there, I don't want to get this thread on a side-topic just for this nor will I reply to this in here anymore.![]()
Nintendont doesn't use MIOS at all. Also make sure you are using version 3.387.Hey, I've been running into an issue lately. I used Nintendont a while back and it was working perfectly, I decided to erase everything on the usb to use it for something else for about a month then decided I wanted to play Melee on it again and set it all back up but after I did whenever I loaded Nintendont it would just revert back to Homebrew shortly after loading.
I tried formatting my USB to Fat32 and 32k cluster, but no change. Then I decided to update my Nintendont and now when I load it after a couple seconds it goes to a black screen with some codes and at the top says "Exception (Alignment) occurred!" and stays frozen at that screen.
After that when I loaded Nintendont it would just freeze after showing the logo so I retried updating and it fixed the freeze at logo but continued with the "Exception" shit..
Any help/ideas to fix this?
Edit 1: Also have DIOS MIOS and tried using that but it just wouldn't load/show any games. But didn't really care to try updating that at all.

https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont/blob/master/loader/loader.dol?raw=true
Is it from version 3.387 as you didn't answer that question?I had MIOS before I got Nintendont so I went to try it again and as I said before the games wouldn't show on MIOS; in case this information is of any help.
Also I have that boot file and it is still doing it.
i downloaded this nintendont boot.dol and still freezes....now wii games work but nintendont dont. i formated sd card and copied new apps. usb loader doesnt recognise nintendont...it says that i needs mios dios and program devolution or smth.
it loads from hbc then i select usb, and game...everything goes ok and then black screen and freezes
Yes.I'm sure this has been answered before, so please forgive me for my ignorance... I just bought a used Wii (blue) that doesn't have the GameCube controller ports or Disc support. Will Nintendont still work properly on this unit?
It does.Okay... So, onto my Dumb Question #2 (sorry)... Will the Wii U GameCube Adapter work with a normal Wii, through Nintendont?
So, aside from the Wavebird (which the receiver plugs into a GameCube port) and the Classic Controller (which plugs into a Wiimote), is there a better wireless/bluetooth GameCube controller to use with an old Wii and Nintendont? It does.
I think the controller is detected as an HID device, I don't know though what you need to do to make it work since I haven't used any HID controller since Blutooth compatibility was added.
Not that I know of.So, aside from the Wavebird (which the receiver plugs into a GameCube port) and the Classic Controller (which plugs into a Wiimote), is there a better wireless/bluetooth GameCube controller to use with an old Wii and Nintendont?
