Quick question for anyone who owns a Wii ESHOP DOWNLOADABLE GAME (eg Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Prime Trilogy...): what displays when you boot to it from the Wii U? Does it have a custom splash screen like Wii U games? If so, does it display "Wii U" in the upper left hand corner, or something else?

Pretty sure you mean Super Mario Galaxy 2. :P

^I've been looking online and cant find anything. A picture of the GamePad/TV while a game is booting or even just a short description would be appreciated

To think that this probably wouldn't have happened if I didn't suggest using the banners...
Amazing job as always Abz!
well it was easy since everything was made in batch functions
I like to make use of that huge png library it took me a long time to finish it in the past

Ewwww that splash screen is hideous:hateit:
That did answer my question, though. Next question, for anyone that is interested in custom logo-ed splash screens: would you like the logo in the top left corner to read "Wii U" (look more official) or "*GameCube logo* GAMECUBE" (look more "correct", particularly when loading from the Wii)

Still can't believe nintendo missed the oportunity to make gamecube virtual console from a nintendont-like engine. :P

Because of the Open-Source laws, they could literally use Nintendont as long as they gave the original creators credit on the public files section of their website, but because of pride they really did miss out :P

Well we have this option for free at least :creep:

Come to a decision after thinking about it: I will go ahead and use the Wii U logo, but will change it to GameCube upon request for a splash screen I've already made. I will base the screens off of the .pngs ABZ has made (since they deserve to be used) but may make my own/use different images for authenticity for some games (eg MarioKart: Double Dash will most likely use an image more similar to it's cover so that it will look more Wii U-esque)

Tbh, I don't see the point since all the banners already have "Wii Gamecube" on them. But if you insist, I'd prefer it read Gamecube.
