Hacking Nintendont hiccups

Hey guys, I've been meaning to ask this question for a while, is there a reason Nintendont stutter a bit during a cutscene for nearly all of my games? I didn't even compress the games but it's some odd glitch I wanted some info on. I just updated Nintendont an hour ago but this was occurring before and after the update, if it matters I'm using the Wii. Thanks for any info!

what usb or sd card are you using?

A 4GB Sandisk Cruzer, was that too small? I haven't really used my SD card since my PC doesn't have a slot (yeah its a fossil I know).

It's likely because it's a flash drive. They tend to be very flaky with backup loaders.

Really? I never knew that, would an external hard drive perform better?

Probably. I have a bunch of Cruzers and while they work fine they all seem to be pretty slow even on my PC. Only two of them work at all on the Wii. The rest of them just make it freeze when they're accessed. :/

I know people here have used flash drives with no issue so maybe someone could recommend a brand that's more reliable?
