Could you provide a link? Just wanna make sure I get the right one. Also, my cousin had an iOS called IOS58-64-v6176, and his Nintendont worked. Maybe I should borrow that file from him?

System menu version doesn't matter at all, there are only downsides to going from 4.1 to 4.3. The only thing that matters is IOS. Nintendont requires the latest version of IOS58, which updating through the official method would give you, updating unofficially may or may not, but you can also download it with NUSD and install it easily with a WAD manager.Hey guys, I learned about Nintendont recently and I learned that in order to use it I had to update to firmware version 4.3 (also for use with wiimfi) so I followed a YouTube tutorial that would show me how to update my firmware version without losing the Homebrew channel and anything else installed, but when I managed update to 4.3 from 4.1 I kept my channels, it's just that when I go to click on my configurable USB loader it gets stuck on the loading screen. When I open Nintendont, it crashes when it says something about a kernel for ios 58 and brings me back to the home screen. My Wii was modded by someone else when I was younger and I cannot access my hard drive's memory, with 300+ games on it, but somehow my Wii could read it. I wasn't able to add new games to it so I thought maybe I should reformat and follow a tutorial online to get the CFG loader or USB loader GX to work. I haven't done this, but given the circumstances should I start from scratch? Will my saves transfer over? I noticed they're saved on the Wii, not the drive, so if my iso name is different than that of what was on my hard drive would the saves work? I have no idea what to do and any help would be appreciated, thanks. (Also I wouldn't plan on getting 300 games back, just the ones I played, so maybe 20-50)
id rather use a fat 32 drive than an ntfsI updated the official way, however I used a tutorial so I wouldn't lose my homebrew apps. I also upgraded to get Mario Kart online working, like CTGP and all. I've managed to restore my CFG Loader functionality and have gotten N64 and SNES emulators to work. GameCube is the only one broken so I want to hold off on converting my hard drive to fat32 until I figure out how to get GameCube games working.

When did I say I was using NTFS am I missing something? Why would you use NTFS for Gamecube games? The games are only 1.35 GB max.

Okay all good, I'm gonna try converting the drive a little later today and I'll report back to tepl you guys how it went. You mentioned you wanting to wait to convert your HDD to FAT32, I assumed it was something else.
I would suggest backing up all data first.Okay all good, I'm gonna try converting the drive a little later today and I'll report back to tepl you guys how it went.
I have 300 games on the drive backing up data would take a very long time.I would suggest backing up all data first.

I know, that's why I was skeptical about converting file system format. I'd be able to install whatever games I want easily for GameCube and Wii, but it'd come at the risk that I might corrupt my drive, which is what my cousin did, following the tutorial as best he could. Not sure if I'll have the same results but our hard drives are the same so I'm a little worried.Converting from one filesystem to another may be risk for data corruption or data loss. I'm only suggesting it as a precaution.

Alright thanks XFlak, but just for the record I'm not the one who pirated them, someone who my dad knew that worked with him did it for us, appreciate the help.Share a syscheck report.
What kind of drive r u using? If it's a flash drive then probably a compatibility issue. Does the same drive work with wii games? Try transferring just 1 to test if u haven't already. If it works with wii games then it's probably not a hdd compatibility issue
@the_randomizer, his wii hdd is currently formatted as wbfs, not ntfs. He has a second hdd he's using with nintendont that's formatted as fat32 that he is having trouble getting to work.

Man, the way you talk about pirating 300 games again like it's nothing just killed my motivation to troubleshoot this. I'm not a SJW or anything, and don't want to cause a big fuss (just a little fuss, lol) but I'm gonna bow out of this thread going forward. Sounds like there are others willing to help now anyway
