How is this product for the wii/wiiu? Does anyone actually have this rechargeable battery and charger? Is it possible to leave the wiimote docked and use a classic controller while its charging?

This is such a waste of money, you can just get rechargeable batteries cheap, and they'd work with anything that need AA batteries xD

Not entirely true.
Nominal voltage for AA battery is 1.5V while that of rechargeable is 1.2V.
Only gears that are designed to be compatible with rechargeable batteries will work - most modern gears including Wiimote are. Other gears especially those that requires more than 2 AA batteries may not work.

You learn something new every day, however for a simple Wii remote, they do just fine. At least for me

Id only want to buy this if the wiimote still works while its in the charger port with the classic controller connected, this way no need to change batterys or have to charge and wait 90 min to use the wiimote again.
