Nintendo: We Should Have Explained Wii U Better

They really should have explained the Wii U better. I was getting all confused, accessory or new console? Maybe they should have described the console, games, new features etc Then went on to the controller, albeit, they didn't have that much time, and I can see why they wanted to emphasise the controller.
I find that to be the most fascinating thing though. The updated graphics and such was cool, but streaming your own game to your room while your parents waggle around is really appealing.

To be honest, I don't see that applying to many people these days since a lot of people have TV's in their room. (It does apply to me though) Then again, I guess you'd want something like a Wii or Wii U in a large spacious room, i.e. living room.

What, exactly, is difficult to understand? That's what I'm having trouble with. I thought Nintendo was pretty clear with the introduction of the Wii U.
They DID NOT say once its a new GAMING console.

They were on about the future of gaming, etc etc and constantly showing the new controller and there was this Wii looking console there.

I see, but how many times do you need to go do something in front of the PC, or in another room. You'll pause the game and go elsewhere. Or if the controller has internal memory, you could take it with on the bus. You're not in front of the TV all the time, which if you were, it's unhealthy.

Well, there we go. Of course, the media and the outsiders should prob have been more inquisitive, or at least patient, rather than throwing up litany after litany. Well, it never changes, why bother? Props to them for clearing it up for people who clearly cannot understand context.

They still haven't cleared it up fully.

Well, one really shouldn't expect them to put all their details out there. They were prob going for mysterious and fell short, so they had to give out some more. We'll see how they work with what they have so far. The plot thickens, LOL, which is just fine by nintendo, they're prob used to it already.

Yes they did.

"A new gaming companion... but thinking about a new Nintendo System."

Also another point. The Wii can only output up to 480p, whereas the Wii U can output at 1080p natively. What would be the point of bringing that up if the unit it was going to be an addon for can't handle that kind of resolution? As much as they could have explained it better, people need to think before assuming.
