Mine has a little Problem with the Kickstand. It wont stay closed and it comes of really easy. It came of a few days ago on the Train and vanished between the seats. Tried to find it for a couple of minutes. Gone. And there is no chance to get your hand on spareparts outside of US or Canada. Have to sent it in for 3 Weeks just to pop in a New Kickstand! Costumer Service at it's best. Nintendo Europe sucks so much ass.

I have one, and I've played like 2h every night, after studing, working and all stuff. I had no problem at all with it. Everything works as it should (even the famous left joy-con) and I feel it's worth buy.
If you really want it, just buy it. You'll get what seems a good console, and probably wont get a bad one. And even if it's, just go back to where you buy it and change it.

This is precisely why you should never fall for launch day hype.
ALWAYS wait at least three months after launch before buying a console, or ideally wait for a hardware revision.
Let the reviewers and streamers weed out the inevitable problems and save yourself the trouble. At the very least, third party accessories will be made available to combat the issues, although the Switch's list of problems seem to be related to internal hardware and software so it may be a bit more complex than that.

The thing is, even if these issues are isolated/you haven't had them happen to your own system, doesn't mean they aren't there and doesn't mean they aren't a problem! I would quote the people I'm addressing in this but there's a few so I'll save my time by just addressing it in a general fashion.

Saying these aren't happening to you/aren't happening to everyone is the same thing people said with Arkahm Knight when it was released "I didn't have this issue so it must not be happening at all", or with No Mans Sky "This frame drop isn't happening to me so it must not exist". I'll restate my point, just because YOUR switch does not have these issues does NOT mean they do not exist/do not occur.

Those defending the Switch saying these issues do not happen/are fake videos trying to discredit the switch, you are being ridiculous, there are many videos and the video that compiles some of them that was posted is just a small amount of the issues occurring/people having the issues.

When you spend money on something you expect it to work perfectly with very few issues. Sure these might be an issue of the first roll of Switch's but this does not mean it isn't frustrating.

This is called statistics. This always happens day one. My £NSMBU+NSLU bundle Wii U I got in 2013 couldn't connect to the gamepad, so I returned it. Of course some units will have such problems. But as long as this isn't a general problem, I'm fine.

So that article telling everybody to wait for the first batch to be depleted due to rampant hardware issues was actually correct then :rofl2:
I mean sure, you could live in fear of the ~5% DoA rate on any electronic product, or you could not be a bitchboy and reap the rewards when the risks you take are the right ones. :ha:

never happened this to me, no scratches, no bug system or freeze, a beautiful system
The only problem I have is a very slight wobble in the right hand Joy con (grey system). but aside from that, nothing else. And I just leave the wobble alone, and could be due to the fact when I held it once or twice one-handed (in handheld mode) like you would an Xbox or PS controller.

thats something that will happen to any product released. its a rare chance this will happen to you and if it does you can get it replaced. people just make a huge deal about this stuff happening to the switch because its nintendo.
Dude, XBOX 360. You can stop with the strawman now.

never experience something like that, I have grey too, I think some system had probl
What the hell...
I take my 3DS to class all the time, don't see what's wrong with taking a Switch...
Me too

Do not pay any attention to any of these videos, these guys cannot even make a peanut & jelly sandwich right, let alone know how to turn the damn thing on correct! you only have to listen to the way they talk, they sound just like Beavis & Butt Head! WHAT..., is that???

The original post says "playing it IN class", if someone can't see what is wrong with that then I would start being worried about how much profit do they take in going into class and about the quality of their education. If you are going in class just to play handheld videogames there better just stay home, avoid possible traffic accidents, save on fuel and be friendly to the environment. /s
